As long as your light isn’t shining, you’re not truly living. You exist, but you’re not fulfilling your purpose.
Why do so many Christians still not understand why God raised them up? Why do so many abandon their calling for mere life comfort — house, job, children? God’s main objective for your life is not just a 9-to-5 routine! It’s not about professional success, it’s not just about getting married or raising your kids well. All of that is good, but that’s not your ultimate purpose. No. There’s a dangerous lie Satan has slipped into the Church’s mind: the idea that your happiness in this world is enough. But that kind of happiness won’t shake hell. It won’t make demons scream. Your title as manager, your PhD, your comfortable salary — none of that scares any demon.
John 1:5 says: The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.
This is your calling! Shine. Your life must be a torch in a perverse and corrupt generation!
The devil knows this — and he trembles. He’s not afraid of your academic success. He fears only one thing: that you discover the true purpose of your existence. That’s why he’s done everything he could to lie to you about your destiny.
Let me tell you a spiritual truth that few dare to speak: the greatest war the enemy wages against your life is not against your health, your finances, or your marriage. His greatest battle is to ensure that you never discover why God created you. That’s his number-one strategy. To make you believe that living for God simply means attending church every Sunday, saying a few prayers, giving your tithe, then folding your arms and saying, “God will take care of the rest.”
Satan is lying! He lies about your identity, he lies about your resources, he lies about your connections — and above all, he lies about your mission. He wants you to believe that your future depends on your degrees or your network. He wants you to pursue a goal that’s not the right one, a success that’s not divine, an ambition that was never born out of the secret place. He wants the church to chase blessings instead of chasing a mission!
But let me tell you: God doesn’t send provision where there is no vision. God doesn’t send the wealth of nations to someone who is asleep. If you’re not shining, don’t be surprised that resources aren’t coming.
Nations will walk to your light… and the wealth of nations will come to you (Isaiah 60:1-5).
You want God’s resources? You want nations to turn to you? Then shine! Light attracts treasure. The reason your light isn’t attracting anyone is why you’re living beneath your calling.
Say it with me: Lord, I refuse to be useless! I was born to shine over a generation.
You want to know when Jesus was glorified? It wasn’t when the crowds shouted “Hosanna.” It wasn’t after the miracle of Lazarus. It was when He decided to die — to offer Himself as a sacrifice — and through that sacrifice, to birth a multitude.
John 12:24 says: Unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much fruit.
Choose to die to yourself. To your will. To your little life focused on yourself, your comfort, your routine. As long as you live for yourself, you remain alone. You must die!
What is your fruit? Where are your spiritual children? Where are the transformed lives born of your obedience? Where are those who say, “Because of their testimony, I met Jesus”? You want to be glorified like Jesus? Then die to self. Accept pruning. Embrace the Cross. Walk in sanctification. Yes, your marriage matters. Your job matters. But if nothing comes out of you for the Kingdom, you’re barren soil. And Heaven weeps over your wasted potential for fruitfulness!
Proverbs 14:28 says: A large population is the king’s glory.
God wants to entrust you with people, nations, entire families to enlighten. But you’re still frustrated because you’re not married yet? Because you don’t have a 3,000€ salary? What a spiritual poverty!
Return to the calling. Run back to the Father’s arms. Where are the children God gave you?
Answer: Here I am with the children the Lord has given me (Isaiah 8:18) — BUT where are they? Where? You come to church alone week after week — and you’re content with that? Such satisfaction is an offense to Heaven!
You dream of marriage. God dreams of nations. You want a house. God wants a people. You want a car. God wants disciples.
Shame on a Church that no longer dreams of winning souls. Shame on believers who ignore the great commission of Jesus:
Go and make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:19).
But you say: “That’s not my call. I don’t feel the burden.” You’ve been deceived. Tricked. Robbed.
True barrenness isn’t physical. It’s spiritual. You could be physically barren and still birth thousands for Christ. Paul had no biological children, but he called Timothy his son. Jesus was single — yet the groom to a glorious Church full of children.
You claim to be a leader — but where are those following you to Christ?
Rise up. Let your light shine. Draw nations to the splendor of your radiance. Stop wasting your life. Your light wasn’t lit to brighten a Sunday morning church service. It was lit to pierce the darkness of many.
The Church is not entertainment. It’s a building site.
Jesus said, I will build my Church (Matthew 16:18), not I will entertain.
You are here to be built! You are here to become better! God’s goal is to form Christ fully in you. The Holy Spirit is constantly working on your character, your obedience, your faithfulness, your love.
Why? So you become a light. So you become a torch. And that multitudes may walk in your light!
So come out of passivity. Stop falling asleep in the world’s arms. The Father is calling you.
Have you burned your time? Wasted your energy in useless relationships, in projects that don’t glorify God? Repent! Come back to the Father’s arms.
This is a critical hour. The world is waiting for your light. Nations are waiting for your voice. The Church is waiting for your commitment.
Father, I ask your forgiveness. I confused my destiny with a title. I chased the fleeting. Today, open my eyes. Give me awareness of my mission. I refuse to remain a dead light. Ignite the fire in me. Make me shine. Bring forth from me the multitudes You have entrusted to me. Here I am, me and the children You have given me. Let my life not be just to eat, breathe, and sleep. I want to live for your Kingdom. Come reclaim your place, O God. Set me ablaze to the ends of the earth. Awaken the heavenly dimension in me. Bring me back to the true path of my destiny. In the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
🙏 If you’ve never given your life to Jesus, pray this prayer in faith:
Lord Jesus, I acknowledge that I need You. I believe You died for my sins and rose again. Today, I receive You as my Lord and Savior. Transform my life and lead me on Your path. Amen.
