No one has done what Jesus did for us on the cross! No angel, no archangel, no prophet, no saint could accomplish what Christ accomplished by giving up everything to save us. He is the image of the invisible God, the perfect Lamb, the One who died for humanity and rose again in glory. And today, we are not just celebrating His resurrection— we are celebrating the fact that in dying, He also raised up those who believe in Him!
John 3:16 powerfully declares: For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
This is the central message of Passover! On that day, Jesus did not just conquer death for Himself. He took us in Him, raised us in Him, and seated us with Him in heavenly places. Your story is already written! The end of your movie is already accomplished! At the cross, everything was already finished in the invisible realm. All that remains is for you to receive and manifest this glorious victory!
Passover is not a religious holiday. It is not merely an event marked on the calendar. No! Passover is a message sent to all of humanity. Through this day, God proclaims that you are no longer forced to endure the tyranny of sin, the painful separation from God, and the dominion of death over your life. You are no longer a condemned slave! A new life is now possible!
Death is mankind’s cruelest enemy, the inevitable journey that all fear. But what many do not know is that a certain group of people do not fear death or the grave: those who walk with Jesus and live in the awareness of eternity. For them, death no longer means the end but rather the beginning of true life!
You no longer have to live with a broken heart, chained by guilt, and condemned in sin. Many think they must improve themselves before coming to God. No! Jesus does not ask you to be perfect. He does not require you to be blameless before stepping into His grace. He says to you: “Come as you are!”
At the cross, Jesus reversed the order of the spiritual world. The punishment that was meant to fall on you fell on Him. The record that condemned you was torn apart. Now, you have nothing left to prove. He took your place and gave you His. He bore your poverty to enrich you with His glory. He endured your rejection to impart to you His divine acceptance.
The triumph of Jesus at the cross is:
On that day, the greatest victory in history was accomplished.
Romans 10:9-10 states with divine precision: If you declare with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and if you believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
He did not say, “If you are perfect!” No! He said, “If you believe!”
Jesus was not assassinated. He did not fall into a trap unexpectedly set by men. He gave Himself willingly! He could have called on a legion of angels and wiped out all opposition. He could have fled. But He chose to pay the ultimate price to take your place and reconcile you with God.
Why do you think the religious leaders and the Romans tried to hide the truth about Christ’s resurrection? Because this resurrection initiated an irreversible shift in the destiny of humanity! If the tomb is empty, then everything Jesus proclaimed is true. If the tomb is empty, then death has lost its power. If the tomb is empty, then Satan has failed.
John 15 unveils a powerful mystery: when they wanted to make Jesus an earthly king, He withdrew! Why? Because He did not come for a temporary throne. He came to establish an eternal reign, an unshakable kingdom that would not be confined to this earth! He knew His plan went beyond human understanding. He knew He had to go through the cross to rescue us from the reality of sin and bring us into true freedom.
God is not offering you a religion. He is not proposing a rigid set of rules. He is inviting you to a profound transformation of your very being!
2 Corinthians 5:17 proclaims: If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.
This means that in Christ, your past no longer has power over you. The version of you marked by wounds, shame, and failure died with Jesus at the cross. A new version of you already exists in the invisible realm, and its fulfillment is underway as the Holy Spirit works in you day by day.
Lord Jesus, today I acknowledge that I need You. I believe that You died for my sins and that You rose again in glory. I invite You to take full possession of my life. Break the chains of sin in me and shape me into Your image. Manifest in me the completed version You have destined for me since before the foundation of the world. I want to live in Your victory and reflect Your light. In the name of Jesus, Amen!
