Can somebody celebrate Jesus today? No, I’m not talking about a timid clap; I’m talking about a cry of victory, a cry that shakes hell and glorifies the King of kings! Hallelujah!
Lift your hands and give thanks for this extraordinary opportunity that God has given us—to still be standing, to be in His presence, to receive His living word.
Jesus declared in John 15:1: I am the true vine, and my Father is the vinedresser.
Do you want to bear fruit? Do you want your life to manifest the glory of God? There is one key, and only one: STAY PLANTED!
Look around you. Observe nature. What is the secret of a tree that bears fruit? It is planted! It does not move, it does not uproot itself, it does not run from one place to another looking for supposedly more fertile ground. It stays, it abides, it absorbs the sap day after day. And this is exactly what Jesus wants to teach us: growth, multiplication, and fruitfulness depend on one thing: abiding in Him.
John 15:4-5: Abide in me, and I will abide in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself unless it abides in the vine, neither can you unless you abide in me. I am the vine, you are the branches…
If you leave the place of your planting, you dry up! There are Christians who spend their time wandering from church to church, from relationship to relationship, from ministry to ministry. They are looking for an instant miracle, a breakthrough without being planted. But an uprooted tree never bears fruit!
Psalm 1:3 compares the man who walks with God to a “tree planted by streams of water, that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither.”
This is not just a vague promise, it is a SPIRITUAL LAW! If you abide, if you remain faithful, if you continue to drink the sap of the Word and of God’s presence, then SOONER OR LATER, you will bear fruit.
But let me explain something to you: every tree has its season. Do not be impatient. Some fruits take time to ripen. A mango tree does not produce fruit at the same speed as a tomato plant! Just because you don’t see any fruit yet doesn’t mean nothing is happening. If you stay planted, if you continue to abide in obedience, in prayer, in perseverance, your season will come!
Why do you think the devil attacks Christian commitment so much? Why do you think he pushes so many servants of God to leave their position, to flee from battles, to give up? Because he knows that an uprooted Christian is a barren Christian!
One of the greatest generals of the kingdom of darkness has a mission to blind believers to the gifts that God has placed in them. He wants you to not see the anointing that has been entrusted to you. He wants you to be frustrated, to watch others prosper while you feel forgotten. He wants you to believe that your ministry is worthless, that your commitment is unrecognized. Why? Because he knows that IF YOU STAY, you will bear fruit.
Look at the history of the great men of God. Not one of them bore fruit without remaining faithful, without abiding! Look at your church. The pastors, the leaders, those who are today lights in their generation, are men and women who refused to give up!
Stay planted! Do not move! Do not go chasing after spiritual novelties that are just distractions! The most powerful anointing is not somewhere else, it is in your daily obedience. Stay faithful!
Imagine a young woman who spends her time hopping from church to church, looking for a husband. She doesn’t find one. Why? Because she doesn’t understand that she is like a tree! She needs to stay planted, grow, bear spiritual fruit before God manifests His promise.
Or think of a discouraged pastor because his church is not growing as he would like. He is thinking of leaving everything behind, starting over elsewhere, claiming that the ground is too difficult here. But if he understood that his breakthrough depends on his faithfulness, on his rootedness… If he stayed planted, he would see the glory of God!
You cannot see a harvest if you do not let the seed die in the ground. Stay faithful, stay attached to the vision, stay in prayer, stay in intimacy with the Holy Spirit, and one day, your name will be mentioned as a living testimony of God’s faithfulness.
Psalm 92:13-14: The righteous flourish like the palm tree and grow like a cedar in Lebanon… They still bear fruit in old age…
This is not just about one season. This is not a sprint, but a marathon. Who wants to go all the way? Who wants to finish their race having borne abundant fruit?
Are you ready to abide for your whole life in the place where God has planted you? Are you ready to wait for your season? Are you ready to be a visible witness of God’s glory?
- John 15:1-5 – Abide in me
- Psalm 1:1-3 – Like a tree planted by the waters
- Isaiah 61:3 – A planting of the Lord
- Genesis 1:28 – Be fruitful and multiply
- Psalm 92:13-14 – The righteous flourish like the palm tree
Father, I give You thanks for this word. Today, I decide to abide in You. I refuse to be unstable, to be tossed by my emotions and circumstances. I am a tree planted in Your house, and I know I will bear fruit in my season. Grant me the grace to remain faithful, to persevere, to patiently wait for the fulfillment of Your promises. In the mighty name of Jesus, Amen!
🙏 If you have never given your life to Jesus, make this prayer with faith:
Lord Jesus, I acknowledge that I need You. I believe that You died for my sins and that You rose again. Today, I accept You as my Lord and Savior. Transform my life and lead me in Your way. Amen.
