SPECIAL SEMINAR – DAY 1 – THE LOYALTY THAT BUILDS THE MEGA CHURCH – Rev. Benny DAG-ANNAN

The loyalty that builds the mega church

Listen to me carefully, the church is not an option, it’s not a hobby, it’s not a place where you just come to get a blessing.

Jesus declared in Matthew 16:18: “I will build my Church.” He didn’t ask for your opinion! He didn’t consult you! He announced His great project: the building of His body on earth. The question is: are you among those who build or those who watch? Are you truly helping the Lord, or are you just pretending to help?

Look around you, the church doesn’t build itself. It grows not just through Sunday meetings, but through loyal men and women, committed, carrying the burden of Christ. The real burden is the lost souls. The real burden is the expansion of the Kingdom. If you don’t carry that burden, then what are you here for?

What God wants is a large and powerful church

Jesus didn’t say: “I will build a small, insignificant church,” He said:

I will build my Church, and the gates of Hades will not prevail against it.

Hallelujah! God’s goal was never to maintain a small group of hidden believers. His plan is a mighty movement, a massive army, a Church that shakes the nations!

Why a massive church? Because the enemy attacks in grand scale! The devil doesn’t come with tiny plans, he doesn’t play hide and seek. He deploys colossal force to ravage entire generations. That’s why Jesus wants a mega church: to stop the devil, to enforce His reign, and to save souls in large numbers.

Look at the businesses of the world — they grow, they invest, they hire millions of people. But the Church should stay small and discreet? NO! We must build a strong, solid, immense church, where every soul finds a place, a family, and a destiny.

Do you want to see God move powerfully? Take up the burden of the church! Work for the Kingdom! Join His army!

Matthew 11:29: Take my yoke upon you and learn from me.

Stop being a spectator and start serving God.

Don’t pretend to serve

There are people sitting in church who say they serve God, but in truth, they are only connected to appearances. They carry no real burden, they don’t work to see souls saved, they don’t win anyone to the Lord. They come to services, they greet people, they set up chairs, they take care of the sound system, but they don’t carry the real weight. They don’t carry the weight of souls!

Imagine four people carrying a heavy burden. They move slowly, they sweat, they struggle under the load… But among them, there’s one person walking beside, only holding a tiny part, tidying here and there without really lifting anything. He’s pretending. He wants to be counted among the workers, but in truth, he carries nothing.

This is the image of many believers. They seem committed, but they don’t care for souls. They don’t evangelize, they don’t make disciples, they don’t pray for those who are spiritually weak. They’re in the church, but they do nothing for the church.

But look instead at someone who truly carries the burden. The one who moves forward, who gives their all, who spends their energy, their money, their time for the Kingdom. You know what? These are the people who capture God’s attention. These are the servants the Lord blesses beyond measure. Why? Because they lighten God’s load in His great project!

Carrying the burden of Christ is the secret to expansion

No one can fool God! He knows who is truly faithful to Him. Don’t be among those who only want to receive and never give.

You asked God to take care of you, but are you taking care of His business? He gave you a family, He gave you a job, stability — but how are you using that blessing?

John 15:16: You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit.

As long as you remain attached to God’s project, He cannot abandon you. But if you are indifferent to His Kingdom, why would you expect Him to pay attention to your needs?

God has already given everything, but have you received?

Listen carefully, the problem is never with God. God gives, God provides, God answers. But sometimes, we’re like someone waiting for a response on a phone line after they’ve changed their number!

Imagine you call your bank. You give them your usual number, and the bank tells you they’ve sent the money. But you didn’t receive anything. Why? Because your phone is on another line, and that number can’t receive the deposit!

That’s exactly what happens spiritually. God has already sent His blessings, but you’re on the wrong frequency! You’re tuned into a passive Christian life, useless to the Kingdom. Change frequencies, step into the realm of church builders, and you will see divine provision manifest in your life!

Let’s pray together

Father, today I realize that the church is not just a place — it is YOUR priority. Today, I choose to carry Your burden. I want to be found faithful, I want to take my place among those who build and grow Your Kingdom. Lord, open my eyes to see what I must do, open my ears to hear Your call, and open my heart to obey immediately!

Lord, I rise for You, I will care for souls, I will do my part so that Your church may grow and become a true fortress against the enemy. I take on this yoke with joy, knowing that it is in Your house that my inheritance is secured.

In the mighty name of Jesus, amen!

Lord Jesus, I acknowledge that I need You. I believe that You died for my sins and that You rose again. Today, I accept You as my Lord and Savior. Transform my life and lead me on Your path. Amen.
