No matter your age—whether you’re 15, 20, 30, or 60—God wants to use you! This weekend, a fire is unleashed, a powerful burden descends into our hearts: the burden for souls! The burden for salvation! God wants to raise up Gideons—men and women no one saw coming—upon whom an unprecedented grace rests.
When people look at the number of souls you’ve brought to the Lord, they’ll be counted in the thousands. The grace upon Bishop Dag Heward-Mills, the grace that rests on fast-growing churches—that grace is available to you today. The Francophone world will be taken, Europe will be claimed for Christ, the Caribbean, Africa, the Americas, and every place where God establishes you will become fields of evangelism and church planting. God is looking for laborers! God is looking for passionate builders, consumed by the work of the Lord!
Jesus says in Matthew 16:18: I will build my Church, and the gates of Hades will not prevail against it.
If Jesus Himself is on a mission to build His Church, where are you? Where is your commitment? Where is your zeal? The time has come to embrace the responsibility of the Kingdom. How many souls have you won this year? How many disciples are you making? Do you have the heart of Jesus who weeps over the lost?
Listen carefully! We don’t act based on preference or convenience. No! The command of Jesus is clear:
Go therefore and make disciples of all nations. (Matthew 28:19)
From Genesis to Revelation, throughout the Bible, God has always worked with men to fulfill His purposes. He chose Noah, Abraham, Moses, David, Peter, Paul… and today, He chooses YOU! Evangelism and church planting are not activities reserved for pastors, evangelists, or faraway missionaries—they’re the call of every believer filled with the love of Christ!
Paul boldly declares in 1 Corinthians 3:6-9: I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God made it grow… For we are co-workers in God’s service.
What does that mean? If you don’t plant, if you don’t water, how can you expect God to give the increase? Many sit passively in church like mere spectators, but God is looking for laborers!
But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses… (Acts 1:8)
Do you want to see the power of God? Become a witness of Christ! The anointing does not fall on lazy, lukewarm, inactive Christians. The power of the Holy Spirit is manifested in those who DARE to preach Jesus, who DARE to bring souls to the foot of the Cross, who DARE to plant churches where there is nothing!
The Holy Spirit is with you to conquer territories! Look at Jesus: He went through towns and villages, teaching, healing, delivering, and establishing the Kingdom of God. And you? Are you staying locked in your own comfort? Do you think the Gospel will spread by itself? NO! The harvest is great, but laborers are needed—those who are willing to be sent!
When the church stops growing, it stagnates. And a church that stagnates is a church that dies! Yet Jesus said:
I will build MY Church, and not even the gates of Hades shall overcome it.
The growth of the church is not optional—it’s a divine requirement. Look at the history of Christianity! Everywhere men and women paid the price, the Gospel spread.
But why don’t Christians today want to pay the price anymore?
The problem is that we’ve produced a generation of believers who seek personal comfort more than the growth of the Kingdom. We talk about prosperity, we talk about personal development—but who still talks about lost souls? Who speaks of the burden for salvation? Who still cries out for the souls going to hell each day without ever knowing Jesus?
Are you ready to give something up for the Kingdom? Are you willing to lose your comfort, your security, your stability to see the reign of God expand?
When Jesus came, He didn’t try to preserve His life. He gave it up!
For it has been granted to you… also to suffer for Him. (Philippians 1:29)
Christianity without sacrifice is false Christianity! Where are the Christians willing to give everything for the cause of Christ? Where are the men and women willing to abandon their personal dreams to run after God’s agenda? We cannot expect an explosion of churches, an invasion of the Gospel, without being willing to suffer for Him.
William Carey, one of the greatest missionaries in history, paid the price. He left his homeland, he left everything to preach Jesus in a foreign land. He didn’t count his life as precious! And today, how many Christians are we counting who are willing to leave comfort behind to win a city, a region, a country for God?
This message is a SPIRITUAL ALERT! It’s time to wake up! God wants to make you a savior of men, a deliverer, a builder of His Church.
Father, I refuse to stay passive while the world is dying without You! Today, I choose to take my commitment seriously! May the fire of the Holy Spirit burn within me and make me a powerful witness of Your Kingdom! Lord, send me! Give me the courage to preach, the zeal to evangelize, the strength to plant churches where there are none! Take all that I am and use me for Your glory, in the mighty name of Jesus, amen!
📌 If you have never given your life to Jesus, pray with faith:
Lord Jesus, I acknowledge that I need You. I believe You died for my sins and rose again. Today, I accept You as my Lord and Savior. Transform my life and lead me on Your path. Amen.
