Profession: Soul Winners – The True Story of Humanity

What is the ultimate purpose of your life? Why are you on this earth, and what is your mission? Here is the true story of humanity, the one the world wants to hide from you. It all begins with a cosmic drama, a satanic plot against man—but above all, a divine strategy for his salvation.

A radical call

Jesus issued a radical call: “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.” (Mark 1:17) This is not a mere invitation—it is a divine mission! When Jesus came, He didn’t say, “I will make you good workers,” He said “I will make you soul winners.” If you follow Jesus, then your primary profession is not doctor, lawyer, or engineer—your divine mission is to be a soul winner!

The urgency of salvation

Have you understood why you were born? Do you know the true mission of your life? It’s not about the career you’ve chosen, or your personal ambitions, but a heavenly purpose, written in eternity before you were even formed in your mother’s womb. The urgency is real: there are two eternal destinations—heaven and hell—and your choice on this earth will determine where you will spend eternity.

The origin of humanity: A glorious destiny

Genesis 1:26 – Let Us make man in Our image, after Our likeness.

This is the founding act of our existence. God did not say, “Let Us make an evolved ape” or “Let Us make an inferior creature,” but He said “Let Us make man in Our image.” Imagine heaven abuzz, angels attentive, and God announcing the most glorious of His works: man! Man was created to reign, to rule over creation, and to reflect the glory of his Creator.

But there was an enemy, a jealous adversary—an ancient cherub who, because of his pride, was cast out of heaven.

Ezekiel 28:11–17 – The fall of Lucifer.

He could not accept that man was elevated to such a glorious rank. So he devised a plan: to separate man from God and to steal his eternal destiny.

The fall of man: An eternal tragedy

Genesis 3 reveals Satan’s craftiness. He approaches Eve and causes her to doubt God’s word. The strategy is ancient but still effective: “Did God really say?” He sows doubt, exploits pride and covetousness. Eve succumbs, eats the forbidden fruit, and Adam follows. At that very moment, all of humanity collapses.

This is not just an isolated act; it is a universal tragedy. Man is fallen. He is separated from God and defiled by sin. Every human being born after Adam inherits this separation from God.

The garment of glory that covered him vanishes, and for the first time, he realizes he is naked. This is not physical nakedness—it is spiritual! He is separated from God.

God makes a radical decision: He casts Adam out of the Garden of Eden.

Genesis 3:22–24 – He must be prevented from taking from the tree of life.

If, in his fallen state, Adam ate from the Tree of Life, he would seal his destiny for eternity! He would be eternally lost—and all of humanity with him.

God, in His unfathomable wisdom, implements a masterful plan: He introduces… time!

Time: A divine opportunity

In eternity, everything is fixed. What you are, you are forever. But God, foreseeing a path of salvation, introduces time. Why? Because in time, it is possible for a defiled human being to receive Jesus Christ, to be washed by His blood, and return to eternity—this time purified.

So the devil changes his strategy: he uses time to draw men away from salvation through distractions, vain philosophies, and empty ambitions.

The purpose of your life: Winning souls

If you have been saved, it’s to save others! The last command Jesus gave before His ascension was clear:

Mark 16:15 – Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.

Jesus began His ministry by saying “I will make you fishers of men,” and He ended it by saying “Go and make disciples.”

Paul understood this, which is why he declared:

1 Corinthians 9:16 – Woe to me if I do not preach the gospel!

Let us pray together

Father, today I realize the urgency of salvation. Thank You for Your grace that saved me from the kingdom of darkness. I now decide to take my place in Your plan and become a soul winner. Make me a powerful instrument for Your kingdom. Fill me with the fire of the gospel and give me the boldness to proclaim Your word to all who do not yet know You. In Jesus’ name, Amen!

🙏 If you’ve never given your life to Jesus, pray this prayer:

Lord Jesus, I acknowledge that I need You. I believe that You died for my sins and that You rose again. Today, I receive You as my Lord and Savior. Transform my life and lead me in Your ways. Amen.
