Take Your Place In The Assembly Of The Gods

I said it! You are gods! So why do you live like captives, like weaklings, like ordinary men? Yet Jesus Himself declares this truth in John 10:34: “I said, you are gods!” A powerful affirmation of our heavenly identity, a vibrant call to step out of mediocrity and enter the dimension of spiritual men.

But why do so many believers still live like survivors when they are called to reign? Why do they endure the attacks of the enemy instead of stopping them? Why does the Church struggle to manifest its authority when God has declared that His children are magistrates, judges, legitimate authorities in His kingdom?

I said, “You are gods; you are all sons of the Most High.” But you will die like mere mortals. (Psalm 82:6-7)

We will not be spectators of the spiritual events of our time. We have been called to judge, to reign, to influence, to overthrow the works of darkness! Rise up and take your place!

God Is The God Of Gods And He Sits In The Heavenly Assembly

For the Lord your God is God of gods and Lord of lords, the great, mighty and awesome God, who shows no partiality. (Deuteronomy 10:17)

God reigns over a heavenly assembly, a spiritual government, a divine council where decisions that influence the universe are made. This council is not a myth—it is very real, and Scripture testifies to its existence.

Revelation 4:4 speaks of the twenty-four elders seated on thrones, dressed in white, with golden crowns on their heads.

Yes, there is a parliament, an assembly of dominions, authorities, and celestial beings involved in divine decisions. And God does not govern alone!

This mystery may seem distant, but Jesus brings us into it when He says in Luke 22:30:

So that you may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom and sit on thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. (Luke 22:30)

Here lies a pivotal truth: This is not just about angels, but also about men called to sit in this assembly!

The faithful angels did not rebel with Lucifer. The thrones and dignities remained loyal. Not all became the powers we now fight against. This revelation is essential: The Kingdom of God is ordered, structured, and God has assigned a place to whomever He wills.

The Government Of The Earth Belongs To The Sons Of God

God created man with the clear intent that he should rule the earth.

Let us make man in our image, according to our likeness, and let them have dominion… (Genesis 1:26)

He never entrusted this dominion to angels or spirits, but to humans!

The heavens belong to the Lord, but He has given the earth to the children of men. (Psalm 115:16)

The earth was not handed over to heavenly angels, but placed under the exclusive jurisdiction of humans! It is they, not celestial or fallen spirits, who were meant to govern this territory.

But sin disrupted this order! Adam’s fall opened a breach that the enemy exploited. Man, who was meant to reign, lost his original authority by submitting to the devil. Yet, in Christ, this authority is restored to us!

Jesus did not come just to save us, but to reestablish us in our position of authority within the divine council. That’s why Paul writes with power:

Do you not know that the saints will judge the world? […] Do you not know that we will judge angels? (1 Corinthians 6:2-3)

You were created to reign, to govern, to judge, to exercise spiritual dominion aligned with the will of God! But as long as you are unaware of your identity, you will live like a beggar instead of sitting among kings!

Prayer: An Invitation To Sit In The Heavenly Assembly

When we pray, we are not throwing vain requests into the air. No! We are appearing before the court of heaven, where divine decisions are made, where our voices can be heard.

Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace. (Hebrews 4:16)

This throne is not just a place where we receive forgiveness; it is also a place where heavenly judgments are established! It is there that satanic decrees are annulled, and the decisions of God’s Kingdom are established over our lives, our families, our nations!

God invites His children to come and sit, to decree, to govern with wisdom and discernment. But then, where are the intercessors? Where are those who will plead their case and the case of their generation before Him?

Stop praying like a beggar—pray like a judge who has a seat in the Assembly of God! In Christ, you are already authorized to stand in that place. Now become aware of it! Stop living like an ordinary Christian who just endures!

The true gods of the earth are not those Satan has set up through lies and occultism. They are those whom God has restored in Christ!

Let Us Pray Together

Father, open my eyes! Give me the revelation of my true identity in Christ. I refuse to live like a captive, disqualified, trapped in earthly thinking. Today, I choose to take my place in the Assembly of God!
Lord, I come before Your throne of grace with the assurance of a legitimate son. I refuse to suffer the attacks of the enemy! I take authority, I decree the end of demonic oppressions over my life and my family, in the name of Jesus!
Father, set the fire of intercession within me, the awareness that my prayers are not just words, but heavenly decrees! Make me a spiritual judge, an intercessor who sits in Your council!
