Day 2 – SPECIAL CAMP – THE SMALLEST ONE SHALL BECOME A THOUSAND – Rev. Benny DAG-ANNAN

The least shall become a thousand

Are you ready to see your life take a decisive turn? Are you ready to move from an ordinary existence to an exceptional divine destiny? The Lord has declared, and His word never returns to Him void:

The least shall become a thousand, and the smallest a mighty nation. I, the Lord, will hasten it in its time. (Isaiah 60:22)

Maybe up until now, you’ve seen yourself as insignificant, incapable of impacting your environment. Maybe you’ve settled for a lukewarm Christian life, one without flavor or power. Yet, the light of God in you is meant to attract the nations! Let me tell you a powerful spiritual truth: as long as you are not lit, as long as you carry no fire within you, no one will come to you. But when God’s light begins to shine in you, that’s when people come running, nations are drawn in, and your influence expands relentlessly.

Look at Daniel! A mere exiled slave, a captive in a foreign land, but a man filled with the Spirit of God. When the king needed a heavenly answer, he didn’t turn to his advisors—but to Daniel. Why? Because he was lit! The queen herself declared:

There is a man in your kingdom in whom is the spirit of the holy gods… (Daniel 5:11)

From today, your reputation will no longer be that of an average believer. People will speak of you like this: “There is, in this city, in this company, in this family, a man, a woman, filled with the wisdom of God, able to unlock impossible situations.”

If you want to see the glory of God manifest in your life, it’s time to set your generation on fire through the power of the Holy Spirit!

It’s time to be lit

God is not looking for decorative Christians. He is not seeking unlit lamps sitting on a shelf, lukewarm believers who don’t disturb the darkness. No! He is looking for those who are on fire, whose presence forces the devil to flee! John the Baptist was called:

The burning and shining lamp. (John 5:35)

Today, you must be able to put your name in place of his. You must be that lamp in your house, at work, in your city.

France needs men and women who are lit! Europe needs watchmen on fire! The world is sinking into darkness, but you, you are destined to be a lighthouse. The true question is: will you answer your calling? Will you ask God to make you a man or a woman who shines with His light?

If your heart is already burning within you, then know this—God is ready to ignite you.

It is in prayer and in the presence of God that the fire falls. If you think you can shine without an intense life of prayer, you are mistaken. Every lamp needs fuel. Your fuel is the presence of God in constant communion. Every morning, before even getting out of bed, your first cry must be: “Lord, light me up!”

The secret of divine growth

You want to become a thousand? You want to have an influence that goes beyond your neighborhood, your city, your nation? Then understand this fundamental spiritual principle: God always grows what is small, but what is small must first be faithful and lit.

When men despised Jerusalem, thinking it could never be restored, God declared:

Who dares despise the day of small beginnings? (Zechariah 4:10)

It is a great mistake to want to step directly into greatness without going through the process of growth. Great businesses began as mere ideas. Great nations started with just a small group of men. Likewise, the greatest ministries once began as a small cell with just a few people in a living room. What you do in hiddenness today determines the greatness that will come tomorrow.

Jesus Himself taught this principle when He compared the Kingdom of God to a mustard seed:

When it is sown, it grows up and becomes larger than all the garden plants and puts out large branches, so that the birds of the air can nest under its shade. (Mark 4:31-32)

As long as you reject small opportunities, as long as you despise humble beginnings, you will not activate the prophetic word that says the least shall become a thousand.

Take care of the little flock God has entrusted to you. Invest yourself in the little He has given you. Because when faithfulness meets anointing, multiplication becomes inevitable.

Activate the power of prayer and the Word

Greatness in the Kingdom of God does not come through human effort, but through the ministry of prayer and the Word. When the apostles were faced with a food crisis in the early Church, they refused to be distracted from what was essential and declared:

But we will devote ourselves to prayer and to the ministry of the word. (Acts 6:4)

Prayer and the Word are the two engines of a believer filled with fire.

If prayer is your spiritual breath, the Word is your food. To separate the two will weaken you. That’s why many Christians live stagnant Christian lives: they pray a lot but have no foundation in the Word, or they are full of biblical knowledge but have no prayer life.

You want to see your spiritual life take off? Make the Word your daily companion! Listen to sermons on repeat, meditate on the Scriptures, proclaim the promises of God. The more the Word gets inside you, the more your light intensifies.

Let’s pray together

Lord, I refuse to remain in spiritual mediocrity. Light me up, Lord! May my life be a torch that the nations will see. Today I rise to walk in my calling, declaring by faith that I am not destined to remain small, but to become a thousand according to Your Word! Lord, I offer You my life, use me for Your glory! In the mighty name of Jesus, amen!

🙏 If you have never given your life to Jesus, pray with faith:

Lord Jesus, I acknowledge that I need You. Forgive my sins and transform me. Today, I accept You as my Lord and Savior. Fill me with Your presence and lead me in Your will. Amen.
