God is never late. Even at the last minute, He is still on time. When everything seems lost, when the situation is out of control, when all human efforts fail… that is when He steps in as the God of last-minute miracles. Do you believe in this God? Do you believe that even at the most critical moment, His arm is not too short to save?
John 11:22 – But even now I know that whatever you ask from God, God will give you.
This was the declaration of faith from a woman who had lost her brother. But she was speaking to Jesus, the One who raises the dead. Are you ready to believe again, even when everything seems over? This God who acts at the very end, yet completely rewrites the story.
Lazarus was dead. Not for an hour. Not for a day. Four days. When Jesus arrived, the situation was no longer critical—it was hopeless. Pointless. But it is precisely there that Jesus steps in. He didn’t come when people still had hope. He entered when all human hope was destroyed! Why? Because when there is no natural explanation left, God takes all the glory. Jesus deliberately waited until the fourth day. Beyond reason. Even Jewish belief said the spirit hovered around the body for up to three days—but not on the fourth.
Lazarus’s death was not a miscalculation. It was a prophetic appointment. A platform to reveal that Jesus is the resurrection and the life. When all hope evaporates, when mourners are paid to walk you through your grief, God says, “Now I will arise.” Oh yes, He is the God of the now! The God who comes into circumstances everyone has already sealed behind a stone. This last-minute God makes His fire felt, not when we want Him to, but at the perfect moment.
I declare over you: That situation you thought irreversible will be the ground of your testimony. Your “now” will turn your mourning into dancing. The One who raised Lazarus will resurrect your project, your marriage, your health, your faith!
Look at the wedding in Cana. They had drunk the good wine, but in the end, it ran out. And that’s when Jesus stepped in. Not before the shortage became obvious, but when there was absolutely nothing left. He said: fill the jars with water. That’s it. And the wine that should’ve taken years to mature—from the seed to the harvest, from the cellar to the bottle—He compressed it in an instant. You don’t need 20 years. You don’t need decades when the One who transcends time acts. What God is about to release will take everyone by surprise.
Job 42:12 says: The LORD blessed the latter part of Job’s life more than the beginning.
What’s coming is greater. What comes after your suffering is more glorious. Yes, I said it: what comes AFTER is more glorious! At the last minute, what God does crushes everything you used to think was good!
God is able to consume 15 years of struggle in one single day of miracle. And I declare: this season is yours. Those who laughed at you laughed too soon. Last-minute means suddenly, quickly, without warning! You will be surprised, and those around you will be shocked.
When Peter was in prison, surrounded by sixteen Roman soldiers, the sentence was clear: tomorrow, he would die. But while the church prayed, and while Peter slept—yes, he was sleeping instead of being afraid—an angel came into the prison. The chains fell off, the doors opened, and he walked out free. At the last minute, as dawn approached, God changed the story.
I tell you: what has held you captive for years is going to break. When man says “it’s over,” God says “I’m starting.” Look at the three Hebrews in the furnace. He could have delivered them BEFORE the fire, but He chose to walk with them IN the fire to show that even there, He reigns. And in the midst of the flames, a fourth Man appeared—like the Son of God! Your enemies will say: “But didn’t we throw in three people?” They will see that you were not alone. Your God is in the fire with you. And you will come out without even the smell of smoke on you.
This isn’t just a feel-good story. It’s prophetic. You will come out of the fire. And your deliverance will serve as a lesson to all who thought you were finished. You won’t just be free. You will be lifted up. Because this fire was only a springboard into a higher dimension!
One day, a sister from my church came to me, panicked. Another sister, a doctor, was in the hospital. She had been declared close to death. Her family had already arranged a flight to bring her back to South Africa just to say goodbye. The doctors had planned to turn off the machines.
But on the short walk between the church and my office, I prayed. And I saw this woman alive in a vision. So I declared: she will live, she will live, she will live. And she lived! The following year, she was at the Champions Gathering, standing, graduated from our Bible school, testifying to the power of the God who acts at the last minute!
That God has not changed. He’s not tired of doing miracles. And He won’t stop with you! I must tell you: what the doctors called incurable… Jesus calls curable. What the system condemned… Jesus redeems.
James 2:13 declares that mercy triumphs over judgment.
Tonight, mercy is speaking on your behalf!
The world told you to forget. The experts gave up on you. People cried at your spiritual funeral. But tonight, an extraordinary God is standing at the door. And when He acts, nothing can stop Him.
Father in the name of Jesus, I call on You as the God of last-minute miracles. Step into my situation. Do what man cannot do. Shut the mouth of the accuser. Overturn unjust judgments. Awaken what was dead in my life and manifest Your power. Today I offer You my life as a living altar. Intervene, Lord. I am expecting You. In the mighty name of Jesus, amen!
Lord Jesus, I believe You came to save me. I accept You now as my personal Savior. Intervene in my life. Do a last-minute miracle. Transform me and fill me with Your Spirit. Amen.
Lord Jesus, I acknowledge that I need You. Forgive my sins and transform me. Today, I accept You as my Lord and Savior. Fill me with Your presence and lead me in Your will. Amen.
