I’m not satisfied. No, no, no.
I’m not satisfied with where I am, with what I’m manifesting, with the version of myself that I show to the world. And you—are you satisfied? Are you satisfied living a lukewarm, bland, insignificant life? Are you satisfied seeing Christ hidden inside you, buried because of your ego, your flesh, your compromises?
Because Matthew 5:16 tells us that your light is supposed to shine before men, so they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven. Yes—glorify God. Not admire you, but worship the One working through you. But this light—is it really shining? Can it be seen? Can your generation point at you and say, “I saw Christ in you”?
Take a real look at your life. What God is asking for is not a nice sermon. He’s asking for a light. A radiance. A divine demonstration. The whole of creation, Paul says in Romans 8:19, groans with eager expectation—not for your degrees, not to hear your voice, not to see your title or your style—but to see the revealing of the sons of God. That’s what it waits for. And the Spirit says to you: it’s time for you to shine.
When you ask to see a revival, don’t only think about miraculous manifestations. That’s not where revival begins. No—it doesn’t start with falling, trembling, visions or goosebumps. The first symptom of a true revival, says Amos 8:11, is hunger. Not a hunger for bread or water, but a hunger to hear the words of the Lord. A burning thirst for the authenticity of God. A violent rejection of superficiality, artificial behavior, outward appearance. The real thirst for Heaven begins when you’re tired of playing church. When you’ve had enough of coming to sing and dance… but leave cold, empty, fleshly, hypocritical.
When you decide to hate the lie. When you weep over your twisted heart. When you cry, “Lord, I beg you, set me on fire, free me from myself!”—that is the beginning of revival. It’s the cry of the inner man who says, “I’m trapped! Let me out!” It’s not your sin that frustrates God, it’s your ego. And as long as you live for yourself, as long as you refuse to crucify your ego, Christ cannot live. Galatians 2:20 doesn’t say that Christ is only in us. It says, “It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me.”
Why are so many lives suffocating? Why are so many ministries extinguished? Why are so many destinies barren? Because no light is shining. The sun came up… but stopped at dawn. The moment you were born of God, a light rose. Isaiah 60:1 declares:
Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you.
Yes, the light has come—but have you let it shine? Or are you living in a day full of clouds, frustrated, where the light is hidden by your spiritual dissatisfaction, your lack of structure, your absence of fervor, your disinterest in the Spirit?
There is a version of you that God has hidden. A version of you that nations are waiting for. A version of you that even you have never seen. That version doesn’t bear your name; it bears the glorious Name of Christ. And the world will never know God until it shines.
You’re not called to impress. You’re called to express. To reveal Christ. When you live to be admired, you’ve failed. When you pray so your name will be known, you’ve already fallen. The goal is not you. The goal is His glory. It’s so that, by looking at you, people will say, “There is a God inside you. This can’t be human.” Look at Joseph, Daniel, Esther. Look at what God did with them, through them. Their whole life became a living testimony. And the pagan king said:
There is no other god than the God of Daniel.
You too become that testimony. When Christ is formed in you, when it’s no longer your speech but His Spirit speaking, then the nations recognize. Not because you shouted “Jesus!”—no. But because you live like Jesus. Because your holiness is evident. Because your love is pure. Because your peace defies reason. Because your obedience offends compromise.
But you don’t get that by accident. It doesn’t come from one sermon. It comes from a heart completely surrendered to God. A heart that longs, that begs, that fasts, that prays, that pleads: “Lord, I want You! If You don’t come, I die. I want to see You, I want to live You… in me.”
Don’t be deceived by superficial enthusiasm. What you’re building today, what’s really being established in your heart, is a foundation. And God never elevates anyone beyond the strength of their foundation.
Listen closely: your level of elevation is limited by your level of depth. If you rise without a foundation, you will fall. That’s why so many false stars have fallen. Because they displayed gifts without displaying Christ.
God never starts with the façade. He starts with the heart. He starts with simplicity. With sincerity. The dove. The fruit of the Spirit. He starts by tearing down spiritual pride, favoritism, hypocrisy, criticism, and duplicity.
Are you ready to give Him that intimacy? Are you ready to say, “Lord, inspect my foundation, tear out everything that’s not from You”? Because it’s not your height that will elevate you—it’s the quality of your groundwork.
There is a generation that has placed theology above worship, form above substance, popularity above sincerity. And the Spirit of God says: I am a Bridegroom, not an event. I’m not a message; I’m a person. I’m not looking for fans in a crowd; I’m looking for a bride in the secret place.
Psalm 27:4 says:
One thing I ask from the Lord, this only do I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord.
Yes, one thing. Not a thousand. Not blessings, not platforms, not recognition. One thing: Him.
You want power? You want success? You want money? But do you want God? Do you want to know Him personally, in the silence, in surrender, in prayer, thirsty for His heart more than for His hands?
Because it’s not God’s gifts that transform you. It’s His Person. It’s His seed. It’s His DNA in you. And if you want to bear fruit, seek fusion.
True worship is not a musical moment. It’s when the Bride says to the Bridegroom: I open my heart to you. Not just my mind. Not just my words. But my whole heart. I’m tired of being cold. I’m tired of being double-minded. I’m tired of living without passion. Lord, come in. Come down. Melt me. Deposit Your seed.
Lord, I refuse to be a hidden light. I refuse to be that sun stuck at dawn, whose brilliance no one sees. I beg You, have mercy on me. Deliver me from myself. Come consume my inner demons. Come take away my burdens of pride, bitterness, greed, anger, rejection. This morning, I don’t want Your power. I want Your person. I want to love You. I want to desire what You desire. Establish me on the foundation of Your love, Your truth, Your character. Deliver me from superficiality. And let my entire life be a living testimony, to reveal the majesty of Your Son, Jesus Christ. Amen.
🙏 If you’ve never given your life to Jesus, say this prayer with faith:
Lord Jesus, I believe that you are the Son of God. I believe that you died for my sins and that you rose again. Today I open my heart to you. Become my Savior and my Lord. Change my life from the inside out and reveal Yourself through me. In Jesus’ Name, amen.
