Do you want to see souls saved? Do you want to birth nations? Then get ready, because nothing happens without intercession. Nothing manifests without intense prayer, strategic prayer, prayer that shakes the heavens and sweeps away the darkness. If you don’t step into intercession, there will be no spiritual birthing!
As soon as Zion was in labor, she gave birth to her children. (Isaiah 66:8)
Look at this prophetic word in Isaiah 66:8: “As soon as Zion was in labor, she gave birth to her children.”
Zion, the Church, is called to give birth! But how? Not just with good intentions, not just with enthusiasm, but with intercession that pushes, that tears, that snatches souls from the enemy’s grip! If you want to see God’s glory, if you want generations to be spiritually born through you, then it’s time to take the life of prayer seriously.
Can a nation be born in one day? No! Can a revival come like a magic wand? No! Everything profound requires labor, everything divine demands a price! And that price is intercession.
Look at Abraham. God had promised him descendants as numerous as the stars. But before having Isaac, he waited 25 years. Look at Moses—before seeing Israel enter the Promised Land, 40 years in the desert. When it comes to birthing God’s plan, God takes His time. Why? Because the process requires maturity, endurance, and commitment in prayer!
My children, for whom I am again in the pains of childbirth until Christ is formed in you. (Galatians 4:19)
Look closely! Paul didn’t just evangelize, he didn’t just preach. He suffered in prayer so that Christ would truly be formed in them! Today, we have crusades, major events, miracles in abundance… but after that, too many souls go back into the world. Why? Because they’re not carried in prayer! Winning souls without ongoing intercession is like giving birth to a baby and letting it die without care!
Do you want to see your family saved? Do you want to see your city transformed? Do you want to see your church explode? Then someone has to pray! Someone has to weep in the presence of God! Jesus Himself did nothing without prayer. He prayed before everything, He prayed during, and He prayed after. If He, the Son of the living God, lived in permanent intercession, how dare you think you’ll do anything without prayer?
In the days of His flesh, He offered up prayers and supplications with loud cries and tears. (Hebrews 5:7)
When Jesus prayed, He wept, He cried out, He groaned.
When was the last time you wept for souls? When did you cry out to God for your lost family? How many times did you get up in the night to intercede until something happened? The intercessor does not sleep until heaven has answered!
In the spiritual realm, nothing comes without battle. The Apostle Paul warns us:
For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness. (Ephesians 6:12)
A church is not established without battle. A ministry is not built without spiritual confrontation. Satan never gets up one morning and says, “Oh, I think I’ll let this city be won for Christ today.” Never! Every revival has been preceded by entire nights of intercession, of tears, of cries, of spiritual anguish.
Jesus Himself, before going to the cross, spent an entire night sweating drops of blood in Gethsemane. Do you want to see the glory? Do you want to see your neighborhood transformed? Do you want to see your nation touched? Rise up as a watchman!
Ask of Me, and I will give You the nations for Your inheritance. (Psalm 2:8)
But look carefully at what He says! It’s not “watch Me,” it’s not “wait,” it’s ASK! That’s where so many Christians fail. They hope God will move, but they don’t ask!
Hallowed be Your name, Your kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. (Matthew 6:10)
Why start there? Because it’s God’s priority!
We need men like Elijah, who defied the entire Baal system. We need men like Daniel, who hid from persecution to pray three times a day, pleading with God for Israel. These men defied the spiritual powers in place. They called down the fire of God, they saw kings and nations bow the knee before the Lord.
In the name of Jesus, Amen!
Lord Jesus, I acknowledge that I need You. I believe that You died for my sins and that You rose again. Today, I accept You as my Lord and Savior. Amen!
