WHAT HAPPENS TO US WHEN WE PRAY A LOT – Prophet Djo Grace MWENZE

What happens to us when we pray a lot

Nothing comes down from heaven if the earth doesn’t send anything up. Nothing. It’s spiritual. It’s powerful. And it’s biblical.

He draws up the drops of water; they condense into mist; then the rain falls (Job 36:27).

Rain does not come down from heaven without evaporation from the earth. It’s a natural law… but spiritual first! Do you want rain of miracles? Rain of breakthrough? Rain of transformation? Then let your prayer rise up like vapor! What you send up determines what you are entitled to see come down. And the more you pray, the more intense the vapor becomes, the more God’s glory pours out over your life.

But tell me, what are you sending up into the presence of God? Is your life a puddle, or a river of intercession? Is your atmosphere able to provoke a divine visitation? Because Job tells us that God draws the vapor toward Himself. He waits for it. He demands it. There are blessings you will never see unless you work on your prayer altar.

A desert receives no rain because it has no water to evaporate. It’s dry, barren, lifeless. So why be surprised that some Christian lives show no power? It’s because there’s no intercession, no vapor, and therefore no cloud of glory. Do you want God to release His rain over your ministry, your family, your health? Raise up your altar. Intensify your fire. Don’t stay lukewarm. An altar with no fire is an empty hotel! Heaven sends nothing to a silent earth. That night, in the royal city, we sent up the vapors. And heaven opened.

When you pray a lot, you are surrounded by the presence of God

Those who pray little may have powerful words, but those who pray a lot carry an atmosphere that speaks for them. It is in the atmosphere of prayer that the glory dwells. It’s not an idea, it’s not an emotion, it’s a tangible force! When you pray a lot, you no longer walk alone. You carry an atmosphere. You enter a place, and even territorial spirits begin to flee. You haven’t said a word, you haven’t even preached yet. But your presence makes the darkness tremble. Because you carry a spiritual vapor that has reached heaven, and heaven answered with rain.

Jesus often prayed, and every time, the atmosphere changed.

He was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and His clothes became white as light (Matthew 17).

What was the key? Prayer! He had gone with His disciples to pray, and during prayer, He was transfigured. He had prayed for several days, and on the sixth day, something manifested. It’s not a coincidence. On the sixth day of this fast, in that overnight gathering, heaven opened, and entire bunches were marked.

Let’s forgive ourselves for living a Christian life without atmosphere. Too many believers want to see miracles but refuse to pray until heaven opens. Remember this: no one triumphs without atmosphere. The anointing is tied to the intensity of your prayer life. Look at Moses: when he came down from the presence of God, his face shone! Not because of makeup: but because he had seen God, he had been impregnated with glory. He lingered, he pressed in, he prayed. Not for a few minutes. Not hastily. He dwelled, he burned, he interceded. He was a counselor, but also a man of prayer.

Those who pray a lot experience a peace that defies all logic

Make your requests known to God by prayer, with thanksgiving, and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your heart. (Philippians 4:6-7)

So peace is not an emotion; it’s a fruit of prayer. You can’t pray a lot and remain troubled. It’s incompatible. The pressure of the world exists. So do the battles. But those who pray live under a higher peace.

You want proof? Look at Jesus on the sea. A storm rages. Water is entering the boat. The disciples panic. But Jesus is asleep. True faith is sleeping in the storm while others are sinking in fear. How can you sleep with waves around you? It’s simple: when you’ve prayed before, you can sleep during. He didn’t even wake up because of the sound of the water, but only because of the disciples’ cries. It’s not the crisis that wakes God, it’s prayer!

You may be walking through the valley of the shadow of death, but the Lord is with you. And His peace is with you. Do you want to know if you’re a person of prayer? Then measure the level of peace in your heart. If you live in fear, panic, and agitation, then your altar is extinguished. But if despite the waiting, despite the bad news, you are at peace, it’s because the altar still burns! It’s not your bank account that determines your stability, it’s your communion with the Lord of Hosts!

Those who pray a lot develop a spiritual ear

You want to hear God? Start first by seeking Him. You want your prophetic life to catch fire? Learn to take your post like Habakkuk:

I stood at my watch and looked to see what God would say to me. (Habakkuk 2:1)

It’s not a gift reserved for prophets. It’s a pursuit that opens the spiritual realm. God’s silence is not doom; it’s often a reflection of your absence in the secret place. You don’t need a prophetic school if you refuse to sit at the feet of the Master.

When a person prays a lot, their ability to hear God becomes sharper. Your spiritual conscience becomes sensitive. You hear His whispers. You discern the way. What others call intuition, you know is instruction!

I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go. (Psalm 32:8)

And how does He do that? Through the Spirit, while you pray!

Many are spiritually confused because their spiritual temperature is freezing. Spiritual cold produces prophetic deafness. The heavens are not closed over you! It’s your ears that have shut down the divine frequency due to lack of listening. Spiritual discipline reopens the line. Become again a man, a woman of supplication, of vigilance, of listening.

Prayer confuses the devil’s plans and restores what was stolen

The war is real. Darkness is organized. The devil doesn’t sleep, and there are men and women assigned to challenge your ascent. They don’t fast to seek God — they fast to make you fall! What level of prayer do you have against that? The prophet testified of young witches fasting for 7 days in a cemetery to make him fall. But the hand of God protected him. Prayer spares us bitter surprises. Every negligent Christian is an easy blessing for Satan!

Jesus said:

Pray that you do not fall.

Not pray after you’ve fallen. No. Pray beforehand. Prepare. Arm yourself. Set the heavens on fire and reduce satanic plans to ashes! Prayer is your armor. It makes you dangerous. It makes the enemy flee. Every day without prayer is an open window for the devil!

You must declare: “Lord, make me unshakable!” Like a plane, fly above the turbulence. Snakes cannot bite an eagle that stays high. If you come down, the problem is not the devil—it’s you. Go back to high places. Be a spiritual furnace, and the flies from hell will flee without a fight! It’s time to shift dimensions! Be a hotplate, not a nostalgic ice cube of a former fire!

Let’s pray together

  • Lord, ignite in me a thirst for Your presence. Let the vapor of my prayer rise before You every day! I don’t want a lukewarm Christian life. I burn for You!
  • Father, I choose the peace that comes from prayer. Even in the face of the storm, I refuse panic. You are with me, nothing will trouble me. Guard my heart in Your peace!
  • Lord, I want to hear You. Open my spiritual ears. Let my entire life become a prophetic channel through which You speak and manifest Yourself.

🙏 If you have never given your life to Jesus, say this prayer:

Lord Jesus, I acknowledge that I need You. I believe You died for my sins and that You rose again. Today, I accept You as my Lord and Savior. Transform my life and lead me. Amen.
