RETREAT CAMP DIVINE RESIZING – CLOSING SESSION – Apostle Yvan CASTANOU

Divine Resizing Back-to-School Camp – Closing Session

“Speak and do not be silent!” This is the divine instruction given to Paul in Acts 18:9-10, and it is also the urgent call to each of us today. Why so much silence when the truth must be proclaimed? Why remain inactive when souls are waiting to be saved? God calls us to boldness, to a resizing of our commitment, and to an explosion of evangelization. If you’re tired of a lukewarm Christian life, if you want to see God’s power manifest, then the answer is simple: speak!

Look at what God says to Paul

The Lord said to Paul in a vision by night: Do not be afraid, but speak and do not be silent; for I am with you, and no one will lay a hand on you to harm you. (Acts 18:9-10)

Nothing should make us retreat anymore—neither fear nor intimidation. If God is with you, who can be against you? No one! No enemy, no obstacle, no opposition can stop you from doing what God has called you to do. So, open your mouth and proclaim His Word!

The challenge of evangelization: between fear and obedience

Why do so many believers still hesitate to testify? Fear, shyness, the opinion of others… All of this is a trap of the enemy to keep us silent. But God exhorts us not to keep quiet anymore. It is not just advice; it is a command. At a time when the world loudly proclaims all kinds of ideologies, when darkness gains ground, how can we remain silent?

Like Paul, we must understand that our protection is guaranteed in obedience.

No one will lay a hand on you to harm you.

This is God’s promise! Don’t wait to be qualified by human standards to proclaim Jesus. You already have everything you need: a mouth and a testimony.

The importance of testimony

Look at the Samaritan woman. She did not wait to attend Bible school before speaking about Jesus. As soon as she met Him, she proclaimed:

Come, see a man who told me all that I ever did. Could this be the Christ? (John 4:29)

The result? A whole city came to hear Jesus.

Therefore, your testimony, however simple it may be, is a force. Do not minimize what God has done for you. If you have been saved, delivered, healed, restored, then speak! Tell others. Evangelization starts there—with what you’ve experienced with God.

A spiritual war prepared in prayer

Do not be naive: evangelization is a spiritual battle. The enemy knows that every soul won for Christ is another defeat for him. That is why we must prepare everything in prayer.

Paul did not launch his ministry without an intense life of prayer. Neither did Jesus. Before choosing His disciples, before beginning His ministry, He withdrew to pray. And you? What is your prayer life like? If you want to see souls saved, start by praying for them. If you want to see miracles accompany your words, start by praying for boldness and the power of the Holy Spirit.

Through persistent prayer, holy boldness will rise in you. Through constant proclamation, testimonies will explode around you. Boldness is gained in God’s presence.

A living example: evangelization in all contexts

Look at Nasden’s testimony. She evangelizes everywhere: on the subway, on the train, even on the plane! She introduces the Word with wisdom and relevance:

“Hello, excuse me for bothering you. I took the train with you, but I’m getting off at the next station, and I have something very important to tell you.”

Everyone wants to listen. She has captured their attention, and hearts are opening.

And what about Joel, a 22-year-old who set up a digital evangelization strategy via WhatsApp? In just one year, over 800 people have joined groups spread across 40 countries. A digital army for Christ! Who said evangelism was limited to the streets?

Spiritual pride: our true family

A family is not limited to biological ties. The Church is a spiritual family stronger than blood.

For whoever does the will of God, he is my brother, my sister, and my mother. (Mark 3:35)

Some are rejected by their own earthly family. But look at what God does through the spiritual family! See how men and women care for each other, support, comfort, and encourage one another.

How many testimonies in this closing session have shown that impact families are a refuge, a source of divine restoration?

Let us pray together

Lord, today I take a stand. I refuse to remain silent. I refuse to be dominated by fear and timidity. Fill me with Your boldness, Your fire, Your passion! Open my lips so that I may proclaim Your name without fear. Let each day become an opportunity to announce Jesus!

Father, I want to be a light in this world. Use me in the subway, in the streets, on social media, in my family, and everywhere You send me. In the name of Jesus, amen!

🙏 If you have never given your life to Jesus, pray with faith:

Lord Jesus, I acknowledge that I need You. I believe that You died for my sins and that You rose again. Today, I accept You as my Lord and Savior. Transform my life and lead me on Your path. Amen.
