What is in God’s heart is the salvation of souls! His greatest desire is to see men and women come to know Jesus and be saved. Yet today, so many Christians live their faith individually, forgetting that their primary mission is to be soul winners. Why are we so concerned with our own blessings, our own needs, when God’s heart beats for lost souls?
The master said to the servant: Go out to the roads and country lanes and compel them to come in, so that my house will be full. (Luke 14:23)
The Kingdom of God does not fill up by chance. It fills up because men and women take responsibility to seek out the lost and bring them into the Father’s house. Who are you bringing to the Lord? Who are you evangelizing? Are you even concerned about the advancement of the Kingdom? God is looking for a people who will rise up, stand firm, and take to heart the supreme mission: winning souls.
One of the greatest dangers for a believer is forgetting the primary mission. It is possible to go to church, to pray, to receive powerful teachings, and yet fail to act to save those who are perishing. But authentic Christianity is not a selfish faith. Jesus did not give His life so that we could remain locked up in our churches, comfortably settled. He died and rose again so that we would carry HIS MESSAGE to those who do not yet know Him.
When we first arrived at church, there was a strong culture: the culture of inviting, the culture of speaking about Jesus without shame. As soon as someone attended a service and was impacted, they would immediately speak to their friends, colleagues, and family about it. The result? The church grew, souls were saved, and the Kingdom of God advanced.
But today, this mindset is disappearing for many. People attend, they listen, but they do not invite, they do not testify, they do not share the life that God has given them. Beloved, be careful! A Christian without a passion for souls is a Christian who has lost an essential part of God’s heart.
Someone reached out so that you could know the Lord. Now it’s your turn to reach out to someone else. Are you ready to take up the torch?
At the time of the banquet, he sent his servant to tell those who had been invited, ‘Come, for everything is now ready.’ (Luke 14:17)
But all too often, those who are invited find excuses. Some are too busy, others too preoccupied with the things of this world, and still others are simply indifferent. Yet, the Kingdom is an emergency! We do not have the luxury of postponing evangelism.
God has given a clear mandate: go and compel. He does not say, “Wait for souls to come on their own!” It is up to us to seek them out, to call them, to do everything possible so that they hear the Gospel.
If you do not do it, tell me, who will do it in your place? Who will pray for your unsaved colleague? Who will proclaim the Gospel to that desperate neighbor who has lost all hope? Who will introduce Jesus to that family member sinking into depression?
The salvation of many souls depends on your obedience. Do you hear the Lord’s call today?
Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men. (Mark 1:17)
Being a fisher of men means seizing every opportunity to speak about Jesus. We have been saved to save others. Let me ask you this question: When was the last time you spoke to someone about the love of God?
Winning a soul is simpler than you think. It is not a matter of great preachers or theologians. It is a matter of love and obedience.
When you are touched by good news, you naturally talk about it. If you discover a great restaurant, you tell your friends. If you find a good doctor, you talk to your family. So how can you remain silent about Jesus, who saved you, changed you, and transformed you?
Do not come to church alone anymore. Invite, share, speak, pray for lost souls. Go into the streets, offices, schools, and neighborhoods. Let your light shine. Make people understand that Jesus is the solution.
The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Today, God is looking for men and women willing to stand up for Him. This is not about being mere spectators. You are a Kingdom worker!
God wants to fill His house, and for that, He needs you. Are you ready to respond to this call?
Father, today I choose to obey Your call. Place in me a burden for souls. Give me the courage to speak about You, the boldness to invite, the faith to pray for the lost. I do not want to be a spectator anymore, but an active worker in Your Kingdom. Form in me the heart of a true soul winner. In the mighty name of Jesus, Amen!
Lord Jesus, I acknowledge that I need You. I believe that You died for my sins and that You rose again. Today, I accept You as my Lord and Savior. Transform my life and lead me on Your path. Amen.
