As we enter a new year, a burning question arises: how many will still endure sufferings that are not even theirs? How many are still walking under the invisible weight of their ancestors’ iniquity, unaware that this burden MUST fall? Jesus said in John 14:30:
The prince of this world is coming, but he has nothing in me.
What Satan is looking for is not just sinners, but people in whom he finds something of his kingdom. What does he have in you? What does he have in your blood, in your character, in your family history that you’re carrying without even realizing it?
Iniquity is not just a simple sin; it is a distortion of character inherited from ancestors, a spiritual program that shapes entire bloodlines. These are covenants, habits, addictions, destructive patterns of which you are the product without ever having chosen them. But today, the blood of Jesus is crying out for you! Today, deliverance is arising! The question is no longer whether God wants it—He has already proven it on the cross! The question is whether YOU are ready to renounce, ready to break these covenants, ready to refuse the dark inheritance that seeks to dominate your destiny.
The battle you are facing often did not start with you. Look around you:
Why?
I am a jealous God, punishing the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generation. (Exodus 20:5)
Iniquity is not just about the one who sinned; it pursues his descendants! It marks entire bloodlines and opens doors for familial spirits that continuously claim the legal right to oppress.
The sins you suffer from today—are they really just yours? Or are you carrying the weight of past generations? Why are some children born already drawn to impure things, even though they have never been exposed to them externally? Why do some feel inexplicable anger, thoughts of violence, murder, or impurity from an early age? Because iniquity travels through the BLOOD. It is not enough to stop a behavior; the blood must be purified by the blood of Jesus. This is not a moral issue; it is a SPIRITUAL genetic issue!
Iniquity is more than occasional sin; it is a corrupt nature that deforms its bearer. It makes a person insensitive, cruel, manipulative—without even realizing it.
Put an end to your sins by practicing righteousness, and to your iniquities by showing compassion to the needy. (Daniel 4:27)
The problem is that many refuse to acknowledge this reality. They want to pray, but they refuse to abandon sin. They want to be delivered, but they cling to their old mindsets. They cry out to God, yet they maintain inherited behaviors that continue to give ammunition to the devil!
But prayer without renouncing iniquities is like trying to put out a fire with gasoline.
The prince of this world is coming; he looks at your life… and he finds what still belongs to him.
Do you want to be free in 2024? Then God requires more than just a desperate cry for help: He wants your RADICAL decision. He wants you to PUT AN END to these things. You can no longer function as you did in 2023! These chains must fall! These cycles must be broken! But will you desire it?
He was crushed for our iniquities. (Isaiah 53:5)
Look closely at what the Bible says. He was wounded for our sins, but CRUSHED for our iniquities! This is no coincidence. Jesus had to endure complete crushing in order to destroy what iniquity had corrupted in us!
It is through His blood that we are cleansed. This blood does more than cancel the debt of sin; it also cleanses the stains of iniquity. It is not enough for your sins to be forgiven; now, your inner being must be washed. This spiritual genetic program must be ERADICATED FROM YOUR SYSTEM!
If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all iniquity. (1 John 1:9)
This morning, if you truly want to be free, you can no longer simply hide, minimize, or excuse these things. YOU MUST CONFESS THEM, YOU MUST DETACH YOURSELF FROM THEM!
Father, today, I acknowledge that my life has been marked by things I did not choose. I realize that destructive patterns in my family and in my own life are the consequence of iniquities passed down from generation to generation.
I confess these things before You. Forgive my sins and cleanse me from all iniquity. By the blood of Jesus, I renounce covenants, curses, and inherited sufferings.
Everything I have inherited that is not from You, I refuse to pass it on to my descendants. Lord, I desire to walk in the perfect freedom of Jesus Christ. I accept the work of the cross, I receive purification, and I make a covenant with You to manifest a new life. In the mighty name of Jesus, amen!
