Being invincible in glory

We are called to walk in the glory, to reflect the nature and power of God. Not a superficial glory. Not a man-made glory. But a heavenly, tangible, real glory. The kind of glory that makes you invincible. Yes, invincible! Not just to defend, not just to survive. Invincible to conquer, to move forward, to manifest Jesus Christ in this troubled world. But how do we enter into it? How do we remain in it? How do we reflect that glory without diluting it with our own will?

For there is a glorious mystery that the church today must rediscover: to walk in the fear of the Lord in order to enter into the full expression of His glory.

Not a fear that drives away. A fear that draws close, that protects, that lifts up. Moses experienced it. He said, “Show me Your glory!” And God replied, “I will make all My goodness pass before you.” Hallelujah. The glory of God is the perfect goodness of God. It is the holiness, love, power, and justice of God fused into a visible manifestation.

But God revealed a secret to Moses: “I appeared to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob as El Shaddai, but I did not make Myself known to them by My Name: the LORD.” You see, many in the church know God as their Provider, their Healer, their Savior… but few know Him as Lord. Lord. The One who rules, who leads, who commands. The Bridegroom.

Glory is the fruit of covenant

We are the Bride of Christ. Not as a vague or purely mystical concept. No, we are truly called to voluntarily submit ourselves to our Bridegroom. And that submission is not oppression. It is a covering. A place of safety, honor, and delight. I learned this in my own life. For years, I was a missionary, alone, going into the most dangerous countries without fear. But when God called me to marry, He also called me to learn submission.

When my fiancé said to me, “Audrey, I don’t feel you should take that trip,” everything in me cried out: “But Lord, I’ve preached in places where believers are persecuted!” Yet the Lord clearly told me: “Audrey, you are about to be married. You must learn to respect the authority of your husband.” It was an inner revolution for me. Because I saw submission as a hindrance. But God showed me the truth. Submission is protection. I laid down my right to go, I chose to remain under my fiancé’s covering, and that’s when he blessed me by saying I could go. And I did go, but not as a lone warrior. I went under the divine covering of my Bridegroom. That is glory. That is the spiritual position that makes us invincible.

Knowing God as Lord

If you want to see His glory, you must learn to know Him not only as your Friend, your Savior, but as your Lord. The One who tells you where to go, what to say, how to act. The One whose commands are not up for debate. Moses had to remove his shoes. Joshua had to remove his sandals. Why? Because God was saying: you need to stop walking your way. You must stop doing things according to your own logic. The man-crafted shoes had to come off. That is where real submission begins.

Oh my friends, this generation has lost even the concept of the fear of the Lord. We want a God who gives everything without asking anything. A God who blesses us without ever correcting us. But Jesus Christ Himself, the Son of God, walked in the fear of the Lord. He made it His delight! The Spirit of God rests on those who delight in submitting to the will of the Father. “He did not judge by appearance or by hearsay,” says the Word. That is what the fear of the Lord produces: right vision, divine direction and communion with the Father.

The prophetic word for today’s church

Let me be honest with you. At this conference, I was tempted to want to impress. Oh yes. To preach something new, something different. But God spoke clearly to me: “Speak about the fear of the LORD.” It may not be the most popular message. But it is the message that will save our families, our nation, the church. Because this fear is not terror. It is honor. It is realizing that the Creator God wants to sit with me, talk with me, guide me. It’s responding to His greatness with total submission. It’s saying like Jesus: “Not my will, but Yours.”

You want divine protection in these troubled times? Walk in this fear. It is a fountain of life, a shelter for sons. It keeps you from the snares of death.

Because where the natural man sees nothing, the Spirit of God will say: “Don’t take that step, don’t go to Goma today…” Like that moment when God turned me away from a journey that could have taken my life. It is this fear of God that places you under cover.

Let us learn to hate evil as God hates it

“You who love the LORD, hate evil.”

  • Hate lies, hypocrisy, manipulation.
  • Hate compromise.
  • And bring justice to the gate!

Please, my sisters, do not lend your voice to political systems that promote death, confusion, and iniquity, just because it ‘suits’ you. We don’t vote based on personal interest, but according to righteousness. The church can no longer remain silent while our values are being destroyed by unjust laws.

It is time to choose who is Lord over your life: God or man. Will you follow popularity or holiness? Will you accept correction or shut yourself off in pride? For the fear of the Lord begins with a heart that is easy to correct. Do you have that heart? Do you allow God to speak to you? Do you allow sincere brothers and sisters to point out what is wrong? Or do you reject the voice of your bridegroom, your leader, the Holy Spirit?

The secret of the Lord is for those who fear Him

He does not reveal His secrets to everyone. But to His friends. His disciples. Those who get up in the morning and say: “Lord, lead me today.” Those who forsake popularity for intimacy.

  • Do you want to hear the divine voice in this season? Then seek the fear of God as you would seek treasure.
  • Prefer to lose the favor of men than to lose His presence.
  • Prefer to miss an earthly opportunity than to grieve the Spirit.
  • Prefer the cross to popularity.
  • Prefer divine excellence to human recognition.

Let us pray together

Lord, I stand before You, humble and transparent. Yes, maybe until today I have loved You, but I have not walked in the full reverent fear that You deserve. Forgive me, Father. Today, I want to submit to You as my Bridegroom, my Protector, my Lord. Teach me to hate evil, to do Your will even when it costs me. Give me a heart that is sensitive, a bride’s heart, a heart that listens, that obeys, that follows. I choose the fear of the Lord. I choose Your will. I choose glory. In the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.

🙏 If you have never given your life to Jesus as your Lord, not just your Savior, pray this with faith:

Lord Jesus, thank You for paying the price for me. I believe You died and rose again. Today I give You my life. Be my Lord, lead my life. Fill me with Your Spirit and make me a glorious bride. Amen.
