3 STEPS TO BECOME AN AGENT OF GOD’S SUPERNATURAL POWER – Apostle Yvan CASTANOU

3 Steps to Becoming an Agent of Divine Supernatural Power

Do you want to see God move powerfully and supernaturally through you? Do you want to become a channel through which His glory is manifested on this earth? Too many believers remain spectators, watching others experience miracles while struggling to live the supernatural life God has destined for them. Yet, the Bible is clear: we are called to walk in divine supernatural power.

Earnestly desire the spiritual gifts… (1 Corinthians 12:31)

The apostle Paul exhorts us not to settle for a lukewarm life but to ardently pursue the gifts of the Spirit. God’s call is not for passivity but for us to be ACTORS of divine supernatural power. There is a dimension where God is waiting for us, a realm where His Spirit operates through men and women filled with His power. The divine supernatural is not reserved for a privileged few; it is the inheritance of all God’s children. But how can we access it?

1. Earnestly Desire the Baptism of the Holy Spirit and Fire

Accepting Jesus is not enough to activate the supernatural in your life. Many Christians stagnate after receiving Christ because they do not go further. Jesus promised the Holy Spirit to those who thirst—not to those who remain lukewarm.

For I long to see you so that I may impart to you some spiritual gift to strengthen you (Romans 1:11).

The baptism of the Holy Spirit is not optional; it is a necessity for operating in divine supernatural power. When the Spirit comes upon you, He equips you, He clothes you with an ability that surpasses your natural capacities. Without this baptism, you will remain weak, struggling with the same battles, the same sins, the same limitations. But when the fire of the Holy Spirit falls on a man or a woman, everything changes. It is a blazing fire that consumes bitterness, breaks the chains of sin, and imparts supernatural boldness.

Have you received this baptism? Do you thirst for it? Do not settle for a one-time experience. Do not let the fire on your altar die out over time. The baptism of the Holy Spirit is not a single event—it is a continuous immersion. Those who impact their generation are not those who have tasted the Spirit once but those who persist in being FILLED, OVERFLOWING, and SATURATED with His presence.

When the Spirit comes, He enables you to do what your mind cannot comprehend. He gives you a new tongue, renews your thoughts, and fills your entire being with a fervor that neither discouragement, fear, nor the enemy can extinguish.

Earnestly desire this fullness, for it is what will propel you into divine supernatural power.

2. Expose Yourself to Atmospheres of Spiritual Gifts

Even after receiving the Spirit, you must continue to receive. Many stop after a first visitation and wonder why their spiritual life dries up. The anointing you received yesterday is not enough for what God wants to do tomorrow. There is more!

Do not neglect the gift that is in you, which was given to you through prophecy with the laying on of hands by the elders (1 Timothy 4:14).

Spiritual gifts do not just fall from heaven randomly; they are also imparted. We do not receive them only through personal prayer, but often through LAYING ON OF HANDS, through impartation in a prophetic atmosphere.

Let’s be clear: those who neglect atmospheres of prayer and impartation will remain weak. Do you want to be strong? Expose yourself to prophetic words. Expose yourself to moments of prayer where God’s servants release anointings. If you isolate yourself, the fire within you will weaken. But when you are exposed to prophetic words, to laying on of hands, to the fervent prayers of a fiery assembly, something is activated within you.

Judas and Silas, who were prophets, exhorted the brothers and STRENGTHENED THEM with many words (Acts 15:32).

Do you want to be strengthened? Connect to prophetic words. Expose yourself to the prayers of men and women filled with God. Never treat church gatherings as optional. They are places of divine impartation. It is through hearing, receiving, and positioning yourself that your spiritual life takes a decisive turn.

3. Rise Up and Take Action

You have received spiritual gifts, you have been filled, you have been exposed to the word, yet many still fail because they remain PASSIVE. They accumulate anointing without ever using it. They collect graces but pass them on to no one. However, divine supernatural power is not a stagnant reservoir—it is a river that must flow.

What I have, I give to you: in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk! (Acts 3:6).

The first sign that you have received something is that you RISE UP and TAKE ACTION. Peter did not wait for an angel to confirm it to him or for the “right feeling.” He simply recognized what he had received and released it.

One of the greatest attacks of the enemy against Christians is to keep them down. Heaviness, intimidation, and spiritual procrastination are traps designed to paralyze those who are meant to walk in the supernatural.

  • The key: if you struggle to act alone, FIND A SPIRITUAL PARTNER.
  • Jesus sent His disciples out in pairs.
  • We support each other when we are together.
  • Take this week as a challenge: go and perform your first miracle!
  • Step out and pray for the sick.
  • Lay hands on someone who is suffering.

Let’s Pray Together

  • Father, I no longer want to be a spectator of the supernatural. Today, I choose to earnestly desire spiritual gifts and to rise up and take action!
  • Lord, fill me with Your Holy Spirit and fire! Ignite my heart with a fire that never goes out.
  • I declare that I am becoming a channel of heaven on earth. I refuse intimidation, fear, and passivity. I rise up and walk in my calling, in Jesus’ name! Amen!
