You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you, and you will be my witnesses… (Acts 1:8)
The testimony of the Kingdom is not an option for the believer; it is a divine imperative! Jesus did not say, “If you want to, you may testify…” No! He declared with authority: “YOU WILL BE my witnesses!” Yet, many live their faith timidly, hindered by fear, overwhelmed by challenges. Why? Because without POWER, the mandate becomes a burden. But God has not left you without resources: HE HAS ANOINTED YOU WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT, HE HAS ANOINTED YOU WITH FIRE! That fire is the divine energy that shakes nations, breaks fear, and consumes human limitations. Are you ready to receive this power? Are you ready to be set ablaze for the evangelization of nations?
There is a great difference between having the Holy Spirit in you and having the Holy Spirit UPON you! Many are filled with the Holy Spirit, they pray in tongues, they know the Scriptures, but they see no impact. Why? Because they have never learned to be clothed with the Holy Spirit! Even Jesus Himself knew this distinction.
Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit, was led into the wilderness… (Luke 4:1)
But forty days later:
Jesus, IN THE POWER OF THE SPIRIT, returned to Galilee… (Luke 4:14)
When the Spirit is upon you, you transition from being an ordinary believer to a powerful witness! The words you speak become fire; your actions take on a supernatural dimension. That is why Jesus told the disciples to wait for THE POWER before going to testify—because He knew that without it, they would falter in the face of persecution and give up at the first trial.
Even today, many begin evangelizing on fire and end up growing cold. They want to reach their neighborhood, their city, their generation, but they give up due to lack of endurance. The secret of those who burn without ever going out is the fiiiiiire!
John the Baptist prophesied it:
He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with FIRE. (Luke 3:16)
Why fire? Because fire is the very source of spiritual energy!
Without fire, your evangelism will depend on your emotions. One day you will preach, and the next day you will be discouraged. But when you are ablaze, you CANNOT stop! Fire produces supernatural boldness! Peter, who was so timid that he denied Jesus before a servant girl, stood up on the day of Pentecost and preached with such power that 3,000 souls turned to Christ!
Fire is the force that destroys fatigue and annihilates fear. Paul traveled miles on foot, with no car, no modern transportation, yet he NEVER stopped. Why? Because he was on fire!
Youths may faint and grow weary… but those who wait on the Lord WILL RENEW THEIR STRENGTH. (Isaiah 40:30-31)
Today, look at the Church: temples filled with tired, weary believers, excusing their spiritual inactivity with phrases like “I’m busy,” “I have too many responsibilities,” “I’m exhausted.”
When you are on fire, every day is a new source of energy. You can pray for hours, evangelize tirelessly, teach again and again, without ever wearing out. NATURALLY, you should be tired… but SUPERNATURALLY, the fire renews you!
Holy Spirit, I want Your fire! Consider my life as an altar ready to burn for You! Fill me, set me ablaze, destroy within me fatigue, discouragement, and fear! I want to be a powerful, unstoppable witness, consumed by Your fire until I see the nations turn to You! I refuse spiritual mediocrity! Ignite in me an eternal flame! In the mighty NAME OF JESUS, AMEN!

Lord Jesus, I acknowledge that I need You. I believe You died for my sins and rose again. Today, I accept You as my Lord and Savior. Transform my life and lead me in Your ways. Amen.
