The Church is too silent! Too quiet! Too passive in the face of the urgency of salvation! God is looking for men and women who will step out, open their mouths, and proclaim the only truth that saves: Jesus Christ is Lord!
But what are we doing? We gather, we sing, we build great churches, we organize ourselves… But we do not tell them! We do not tell the lost that without Christ, they are headed straight for destruction! We have lost sight of the only mission Jesus entrusted to us: to go and make disciples of all nations.
He who has My commandments and keeps them is the one who loves Me. (John 14:21)
Jesus did not ask us to simply worship Him with words, He demanded our obedience. And His last command was clear: “Go!”
If we truly love Him, why are we so timid? Why do we hesitate to open our mouths? Why are we ashamed to proclaim the Gospel, when Paul boldly declared:
For I am not ashamed of the Gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes. (Romans 1:16)
The silence of the Church is a spiritual tragedy. While we hesitate, souls perish.
For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost. (Luke 19:10)
The entire mission of Jesus was summarized in one thing: saving souls. And yet, we who bear His name, we who claim to be His disciples, do we still have that same zeal?
We have filled our churches with programs, activities, and events, but have we filled heaven with new saved souls? Every Sunday, we celebrate, we dance, we listen to the Word, but how many go out to tell the lost that Jesus is alive? A church full of activities but empty of harvest is a church that has lost its purpose.
Son of man, I have made you a watchman […] If you do not warn him, I will hold you accountable for his blood. (Ezekiel 3:17-18)
The blood of lost souls is on our hands if we remain silent.
Why does the modern church lack fire? Why is revival delayed? Because we have distorted the purpose of the Holy Spirit!
You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you, and you will be My witnesses. (Acts 1:8)
The Holy Spirit was not given so that we would remain confined within four walls, seeking personal blessings. He was given so we would be witnesses! The anointing does not fall on church benches. It falls on those who are in the field, where the harvest is plentiful!
If we stifle the testimony, we stifle the power! That is why so many churches are dead. They have rejected the mission, and they have been emptied of the presence of the Holy Spirit.
Go and make disciples of all nations. (Matthew 28:19-20)
This is neither a suggestion nor an option. It is the supreme mandate of Christ. Those who love Him obey Him. Those who love Him open their mouths. Those who love Him go after the lost.
The apostles risked their lives for this mission. They proclaimed the Gospel with power and boldness. They did not seek comfort; they did not calculate their convenience. For them, knowing Jesus meant only one thing: proclaiming Jesus!
Where are those who will say like Isaiah: “Here I am, send me”?
Look around you. Do you see sinners? Do you see lost souls? Do you see broken families, distressed youth, nations collapsing? Who will tell them that Jesus is the answer? Who will tell them there is hope? Who will go?
We have measured the greatness of churches by the number of seats they fill. But Jesus measures the greatness of a church by the number of disciples it sends out.
A church that does not send is a sick church. A church that does not send is a church that has lost its mission.
Let each of you look not only to his own interests but also to the interests of others. Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 2:4-5)
Having His heart means making the mission our highest priority.
Today, the church must step out of its walls. It must go into the streets, the marketplaces, the forgotten neighborhoods, the distant nations.
1. Lord, forgive me for staying silent when I should have testified! Today, I rise to proclaim Your Name boldly.
2. Awaken Your fire in me, Lord! Let my heart burn for lost souls! Fill me with Your Spirit and send me!
🙏 If you have never given your life to Jesus, pray this prayer with faith:
Lord Jesus, I recognize that I need You. I believe that You died for my sins and that You rose again. Today, I accept You as my Lord and Savior. Transform my life and lead me on Your path. Amen.
