J4 – YOU ARE CALLED AND EQUIPPED FOR THE HARVEST OF THE NATIONS – Bishop Emmanuel NTERFUL

You Are Called and Equipped for the Harvest of the Nations

The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few! Do you hear this burning call resounding in the heart of God? Jesus Himself declared it in Matthew 9:37-38. God is not looking for a few isolated individuals—He wants a WHOLE army! But where are these workers? Why are the ranks so empty while multitudes of souls wait to be won? Today, God wants to break every hesitation and open your eyes: you are called, you are equipped, and you are sent for the harvest of the nations!

Many Are Called, but Few Respond

God has chosen you. It is no coincidence that you are reading this message today.

You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit… (John 15:16)

This is the mission! You are called to bear fruit, to make an impact, to touch souls, to be an instrument in His hands. But how many Christians still sit passively in our churches, as if the work of the Kingdom depended exclusively on pastors and leaders?

Paul reminds us:

So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip his people for works of service… (Ephesians 4:11-12)

This means that ALL who belong to Christ are called to serve in one way or another in His work. You too are called! And if you still have doubts today, this call resounds for you: do not remain a spectator—God wants to involve you in His plan for the nations!

Why Are So Many Christians Barren?

Look around you. So many believers are present in churches, yet so few bear fruit. Why?

  • Spiritual blindness. Too many Christians fail to see the urgency of the harvest.

Lift up your eyes and look at the fields! They are ripe for harvest. (John 4:35)

  • Lack of long-term vision. They do not realize that God is calling them to impact far beyond their immediate surroundings.
  • Forgetting their transformation. Peter says that those who do not bear fruit have forgotten that they were cleansed from their past sins.

For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; and to godliness, mutual affection; and to mutual affection, love. For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive… But whoever does not have them is nearsighted and blind, forgetting that they have been cleansed from their past sins. (2 Peter 1:5-9)

How Does God Call His Workers?

Many wait for a spectacular event before responding to God’s call. But the truth is, God often calls in a simple and ordinary way.

There was a powerful wind, then an earthquake, then fire… but God was in a gentle whisper. (1 Kings 19:11-12)

Perhaps for a long time now, there has been this inner voice telling you: “Do something for God.” This feeling does not come from you—it is the divine call.

Whoever aspires to be an overseer desires a noble task. (1 Timothy 3:1)

The call often begins as a burning desire in the heart. Those who want to serve God must rise up in faith without waiting for a spectacular sign. The call is already within you, waiting for your response.

Who Does God Call?

Do you think you are not enough? Let me tell you: God calls the weak!

  • Moses was a murderer and stuttered, yet God chose him.
  • Gideon was afraid, yet God called him a “mighty warrior.”
  • David was just a shepherd, but God appointed him king.
  • Paul persecuted Christians, yet God made him an apostle to the nations.

God is not looking for perfect people—He is looking for available hearts.

Lord, I Am Ready!

Today, here’s the simple question: Will you answer the call? Will you remain passive, or will you say:

Here am I. Send me! (Isaiah 6:8)

God is challenging you to break out of inaction, to rise up, and take your place in the harvest. He is calling you to win souls, to preach, to evangelize, to plant churches, to support the work of the Kingdom. The time for doubt is over—step into your spiritual destiny!

Let Us Pray Together

Father, today I answer Your call. I refuse spiritual barrenness, and I rise up for Your harvest. Use me as an instrument in Your hands. Open my eyes to the urgency of souls. Equip me and fill me with Your fire to fulfill Your will. Here am I, Lord, send me! In the mighty name of Jesus, amen!

🙏 If you have never given your life to Jesus, say this prayer with faith:

Lord Jesus, I acknowledge that I need You. I believe You died for my sins and rose again. Today, I accept You as my Lord and Savior. Transform my life and lead me on Your path. Amen.
