Do you think you can walk with God but live without opposition? Do you think you can follow Christ without being rejected? Did you believe you could serve Him without being fought against? No, my brother, my sister! The time has come to understand the truth of the Kingdom! Jesus never said that following God would be a smooth journey! On the contrary! He warned us:
In the world, you will have tribulation; but take heart, I have overcome the world. (John 16:33)
But why do some hold on to their faith while others abandon it? Why do we see Christians grow cold, backslide, and even deny their commitment to Christ? What is the cause of this growing apostasy in the Church? This morning, the Spirit of God wants to awaken us and open our eyes to two powerful truths that those who abandon have never understood!
Why do some abandon while others stand firm? Why can a Christian confess Christ one day and deny Him the next? Simple: because they never truly loved Jesus! The one who loves does not leave; the one who loves stays, even when it is difficult, even when the winds blow, even when persecution strikes. Because love is a commitment!
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? … Yet in all these things, we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us! (Romans 8:35-37)
This is true love! When you love, you refuse to abandon, you refuse to retreat, you refuse to compromise!
Those who abandon prove that they were never truly in love. They were there for the miracles, for the blessings, for the benefits, but never for the person of Christ! My brother, my sister, stop seeking the benefits of God without seeking God Himself! Stop chasing after blessings instead of running after His heart!
The time has come for a generation that loves Christ above all else! A generation that says:
“Lord, You alone are enough for me! If I have nothing but You, I am fulfilled! If I lose everything but keep Your presence, I am rich!”
This is the dimension of the true Bride! Those who truly love will never abandon their Lord!
Let me shatter an illusion right now: Jesus did not come to establish a religion! Jesus did not come to create a denomination! Jesus did not come to found a human institution! He came to restore a Kingdom! He came to establish a reign! An eternal dominion that will never pass away!
When Christ came, He did not say, “I invite you to a religion.” He said:
Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand! (Matthew 4:17)
Those who abandon the faith have never understood this! They thought they were joining an organization, a doctrine, a church system. So when opposition comes, when pressure rises, they leave! Why? Because they never understood that they were called to reign!
Do you not know that the saints will judge the world? Do you not know that we shall judge angels? (1 Corinthians 6:2-3)
You were saved to govern! You were redeemed to reign! Do you think you were called to suffer? Do you believe God saved you just to take you to heaven? NO! He saved you so you would be a king and a priest, an administrator of His reign!
You have made them kings and priests, and they shall reign on the earth. (Revelation 5:9-10)
This is your true destiny! Your calling is not religion; it is royalty!
The enemy fears this! He will do everything to make you abandon, he will do everything to snatch this revelation from you, he will do everything to convince you that your calling is insignificant! But today, let spiritual blindness disappear! Let our eyes be opened! We are called to reign with Christ!
Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed. (2 Thessalonians 2:3)
Everything is already in place! The rejection of Christ is evident! The world dictates its standards! Corrupt laws are multiplying! And those who refuse to bow to this system will be fought against! But let me tell you today: stand firm! Do not waver! Do not compromise your faith! If you become lukewarm, you will be spit out! Hold on until the end!
2025 will not be an easy year, but it will be a year of distinction. Darkness will be more visible, but the light of God will shine even brighter! The Bride of Christ will rise with power! Those who remain steadfast will see the hand of God!
Lord Jesus, I acknowledge that I need You. I believe that You died for my sins and that You rose again. Today, I accept You as my Lord and Savior. Transform my life and lead me in Your way. Amen.
