THE 4 INGREDIENTS THAT PREPARE FOR REVIVAL – APOSTLE Yvan CASTANOU

The 4 Ingredients That Prepare for Revival

I cannot abandon the One who loved me! I cannot! I cannot forsake my first love! He loved me before I loved Him, He saved me when I was nothing! Who was I? A prisoner of darkness, a slave to sin, chained by impure thoughts, defiled, condemned! But He, in His immense love, came to find me! He did not take my condition into account. He was not ashamed of me. He left eternity and became flesh to save me! He died in my place, He shed His blood for me! Who else would have done that? Who would want to die for a criminal? A rapist? A serial killer? No one! No one except Him! So how could I ever abandon Him?

Do you really understand what it means to say “yes” to Jesus? It’s not a religion! It’s not just attending mass or singing hymns out of habit! No! Saying yes to Jesus means entering into a covenant! A fusion! An eternal spiritual marriage! Many fall away because they don’t understand. They think they have adopted a religious practice, but they didn’t grasp the plan! Jesus didn’t save you so you could continue living a mediocre life, without power, without impact! No! He pulled you out of darkness to make you His bride! He brought you out of prison, but that’s not all! He didn’t just free you; He sanctified you, washed you in His blood, and He fused His Spirit with your spirit! You are now united with Him, a member of His body, an heir to His glory! You will reign at His side!

You have made them to be a kingdom and priests to serve our God, and they will reign on the earth. (Revelation 5:10)

But then, why do so many Christians live without any sign of this power? Why does the church sometimes seem weak, without impact, powerless against the forces of darkness? Because it lacks a fundamental ingredient: THIRST!

Thirst: The Driving Force of Revival

The problem with many is that they have grown accustomed. They have settled into routine. They have become lukewarm. They sing, they pray, but where are the manifestations of Christ? Where are the signs that accompany believers? Where is the power? God has always responded to thirst! Only the thirsty find Him more deeply!

If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them! (John 7:37-38)

Look at the history of the Church! Every revival began with a handful of men and women who refused stagnation! They cried out to God! They wept! They pleaded! They were dissatisfied! They saw that the Bible declared one thing, but their experience did not match it, so they sought God until He visited their generation! This is what God wants to do today! More than ever, He is looking for men and women on fire! Do we still thirst to see God glorified on the earth? Where are the voices crying out in the wilderness? Where are the worshippers who will answer the Master’s call?

Prayer: The Altar of Revival

Look at Jesus! He Himself showed us the way! Before stepping onto the plains where miracles erupted, where power flowed from Him,

Jesus went out to a mountainside to pray, and spent the night praying to God. (Luke 6:12)

All night long! Before the crowds were healed, before demons were cast out, before the glory manifested, Jesus prayed!

And what about us? Do we want revival without paying the price of prayer? Do we want power without lifting up cries in intercession? Do we want the miraculous without sacrificing our nights? It’s time to raise up an army of prayer warriors! Fiery intercessors! Watchmen of the night! Men and women who weep for the nations! Who intercede for the captives! Who call upon heaven with fervor until the rain falls and the fire descends! It is time to build a permanent altar of prayer! A torrent of intercession that does not stop day or night! We are about to enter an era of relentless prayer and intercession!

A Consecrated Life: The Cost of Revival

Fire does not fall on an empty altar! There must be an offering! A sacrifice! God is looking for consecrated hearts! He desires men and women who belong entirely to Him! Who have decided to give Him every aspect of their lives! No more compromises! No more double lives! No more lukewarm prayers! God wants it all! Your whole being must burn for Him! Do you want to see His glory? Offer Him your life!

Offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. (Romans 12:1)

If we want revival, we must be willing to pay the price! To surrender ourselves completely! To walk in radical obedience! To embrace a life of true holiness! This is not a game! God wants lives that are fully given!

Let Us Pray Together

Father, today I refuse spiritual mediocrity. I choose to seek Your face relentlessly! Fill my heart with a burning thirst for You! Teach me to pray fervently, to cry out day and night until I see Your glory descend upon this generation! Make me an instrument of revival and transformation! In the mighty name of Jesus, Amen!

🙏 If you have never given your life to Jesus, pray with faith:

Lord Jesus, I recognize that I need You. I believe You died for my sins and that You rose again. Today, I accept You as my Lord and Savior. Transform my life and lead me on Your path. Amen.
