Does anyone here truly want to serve God? Do you want to walk in your calling to the end, without ever failing, betraying, or giving up? Then remember this: you need TWO THINGS. Not ten. Not a hundred. Two. Anointing. And consecration. These two are like a man’s two legs. Without them, you fall. Without them, your ministry fails. Without them, you might end up like Judas or Lucifer. Yes! Listen closely and ask yourself: am I deeply, irreversibly consecrated? Am I dominated by the anointing of God?
In Numbers 3:3, the Bible speaks of Aaron and his sons, the priests: “the ones who were ANOINTED and CONSECRATED to serve as priests.” That is the indispensable combo. Jesus Himself, the Son of God, did not begin His ministry until He had entered both dimensions. Luke 3:21 tells us that Jesus was praying during His baptism, and then, the Spirit descended upon Him like a dove. He was anointed. Then in Matthew 4, He is led into the wilderness to be tested, tried, purified. He was consecrated.
You want to preach? You want to touch the nations? You want to see miracles, conversions, churches filled? THEN GIVE YOURSELF COMPLETELY. Not halfway. All. All. All.
And you, EJP? And you, pastor? And you, young woman, young man, are you consecrated or just a Sunday Christian? Are you deeply and irreversibly given?
But listen well: we don’t want consecrated ministers without anointing. And we don’t want anointing without consecration either. Both must go together! The Bishop said it clearly: we are tired of seeing people actively involved but powerless. And we are disgusted by people who claim to be anointed but are not committed. You need both. Anointing and consecration. These are the two engines of a sustainable ministry.
Anointing is spiritual dominion. When you are anointed, you are dominated by this oil. Someone completely dominated by the Spirit. God wants to make you another Elijah in your generation. A man or woman who was despised yesterday, but whom no one will be able to ignore tomorrow! Today, some are called “little brothers”, “not important”, “they don’t even have a car,” but tomorrow through the anointing, they will lead mega spiritual structures! Do you want that? Then get ready to be ANOINTED. Get ready to be CONSECRATED.
Are you ready? Do you want to become another Elijah? Then go after the anointing like an eagle hunting its prey.
Look in the Bible: every time God called someone to war, to ministry, to mission, He looked from the age of 20. Numbers 1 says it again and again: “from twenty years old and upward.” God doesn’t waste His time! If you’re ready for war, you’re ready for worship, for the priesthood, for teaching, for the mission. If at 20 you’re capable of having sex, then you’re also capable of preaching! Hey! Don’t look at me like that. At 20, some have more experience than 50-year-old prostitutes. So don’t say you are “too young to preach.” You can fight in the army? Then go into the army of the Lord! Ready at 20. Ready at 20. Ready at 20! If the devil recruits young people into depravity, God sends them into the nations!
Young Solomon was seeking God. Old Solomon was fleeing God. It’s time to release the young Solomons before they become old Solomons, influenced by women, compromise, and idols! When you are young, your love is pure. You still say “Baby”. “Sweetheart”. “My treasure”. But later? “Ma’am,” “Mother,” “First Lady,” “Queen Mother”… Hey! What will become of your love for Jesus? Will it remain a fresh love, a love of passion? If you still love Jesus passionately, then sing to Him, talk to Him, give Him everything.
You want to be anointed? Jesus went through seven steps before the Spirit descended on Him like a dove.
You want to be anointed? Then burn for God! You want the anointing to fall? Be in prayer and sacrifice! The flesh will not receive the oil. But consecration attracts the anointing. Honor attracts grace. And when the anointing falls on you, you become uncatchable. Untouchable. Irrevocable.
Father, today I stand before You. I want to be deeply and irreversibly consecrated. I surrender my life, my plans, my limits. I desire the true anointing. The one that will make me faithful, that will make me effective, that will make me useful to You. Lord, I want to be ready at 20, at 30, at 50. I desire to burn with love for You, with a fire that never goes out. May Your Spirit descend upon me as it did on Jesus at the Jordan. Transform me. Use me. Anoint me. I belong to You, Lord. I am Yours, forever. Amen.
🙏 If you have never given your life to Jesus, pray this with faith:
Lord Jesus, I acknowledge that I need You. I believe that You died for my sins and that You rose again. Today, I accept You as my Lord and Savior. Transform my life and fill me with Your Spirit. Amen.
