What you haven’t done yet will not happen on its own. What you haven’t defined will never manifest. And what you don’t write down will remain a spiritual fantasy. Without vision, the people perish. So say it with me: THIS SEASON, I WILL NO LONGER BE WITHOUT VISION!
Have you noticed how many times you say you want to please God… but you’re not moving forward? That you want to serve… but you’re going in circles? There’s a reason. You may be born again, but you’re still unaware of your mandate. You accepted Jesus, you go to church, you pray sometimes… but you don’t know why you exist. You’re not living intentionally. You’re guided by nothing, so you’re drained by everything.
The Word is clear in Habakkuk 2:2:
Write the vision, and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it.
This is not a suggestion. It’s a command. Because God does not bless intentions; He blesses the obedient. But how can you obey if you don’t even know which direction to go? This is why we are going to stop living in spiritual vagueness. This is why we will sit down, think deeply, consult heaven and WRITE OUR VISION!
What is the first barrier to your productivity? It is not knowing your calling, your divine mandate. No matter your age, status, or situation: if you don’t know why you’re on earth, your energy will be scattered, your impact erased. God created you to bear fruit. And not just any fruit:
As long as you haven’t identified the “why” of your life, you are in danger of being ineffective.
This lack of purpose pushes you to invest your time in what is futile. You do a thousand things, but nothing grounds you, nothing propels you. It’s time to understand this:
Ask God for it, even if you only see fragments, like Joseph in his dreams. He didn’t have the whole plan, but he knew that God’s call on his life was to govern. Serve God with what you have now, and the rest will be revealed.
You can understand your purpose and still remain unproductive if your vision is not clear. A vision without clarity is just a confused and ineffective idea. So ask yourself this:
If God appeared to me today, could I show Him MY plan to fulfill HIS plan? Or am I floating, inspired but disordered?
A vision from God meets four criteria:
You don’t need to be number one somewhere to achieve something glorious. It’s not your rank that proves your productivity. It’s your level of impact.
So be humble. First seek to be faithful in the vision of a spiritual authority. By building with others, you’ll one day build your own.
And above all, WRITE your vision! The power of a vision only begins to operate when it leaves your head and hits the page. A study proved that people who wrote down their goals were 11 times more likely to accomplish them.
Listen carefully: this doesn’t mean that writing guarantees fulfillment… but it multiplies by 11 the chances of reaching your goal! So place yourself among the 44% who reach their destiny and step out of the 96% who dream without ever provoking their future.
You may know your purpose. You may be aligned with a clear vision. But if you haven’t translated that vision into specific goals, it will all remain in the realm of dreams.
The vision is a vague divine destination. The goal is the GPS that gets you there. It’s your engine. And to move forward, your goals must be SMART:
It’s not enough to say: “I want to win souls.” Say: “I want to lead 15 young girls to baptism within 3 months.” It’s not enough to say: “I want my business to grow.” Say: “By October 2026, I will have opened three stores with a turnover of x thousand euros.” Raise the bar! Become a tangible builder of the Kingdom.
Then comes the time for an action plan. The how. The reason the angel answered Mary “The Holy Spirit will come upon you” is because she asked, “How will this be?” Never neglect that question!
How will you reach your goal? Every goal requires a strategic itinerary.
Always push through five layers of “how?” to generate a real plan. The more you push, the more you find. And the more you find, the more you do.
We’ve done the exercise. We’ve heard young people declare glorious things. Future disciples of 10, 90, 100 people. Social, athletic, financial impacts. Confirmed callings, established action plans. And now comes the hardest step: not saying “I’ll finish this at home,” and never writing anything down.
No. You will not procrastinate your vision! You have a responsibility before God. The Lord will not judge you by the size of your dream but by your faithfulness to accomplish what He entrusted to you. And that starts now. Even if you have to start small, start with excellence.
Don’t be mediocre. Even in a field you don’t love! Excellence doesn’t start when you fall in love with something. Excellence begins when you decide to be faithful in what you do, no matter how you feel about it.
You’re not just another student, you’re a builder of the future. You are a leader, a light, a head. Not a product of your environment. You are a seed of glory, a work machine. You must revolutionize your way of studying, praying, planning, and loving God. Don’t merely aim for a diploma. Aim for dominion! Stand out until people seek you out. Develop character, make the Holy Spirit your partner. Read your Bible! Take your spiritual and professional future seriously.
Lord, today I refuse mediocrity. I refuse to live a life without impact. I accept Your mandate for my life. I choose to write my vision, to define my short- and mid-term goals, and to build my action plan with You. Lord, I desire to bear the fruit of my womb, the fruit of my ground, and the fruit of my flock. Form Christ in me so that I may be the visible image of a productive life, aligned with Your perfect will. My present is not my future. My smallness today will not limit Your purpose tomorrow. I rise in this season and I decide to build for Your glory. In the powerful name of Jesus. Amen.
🙏 If you don’t know Jesus yet:
Lord Jesus, I give You my life today. I acknowledge that I need You. Forgive my sins, transform me, lift me up, establish Your reign in me. You alone are the source of my true productivity. I receive You as my Savior and Lord. Amen.
