EN->CLOSING – CAMP METAMORPHOSIS 2025 – Ev. Jacques AMESSAN

Rise up! Think! Become powerful!

Those whom God wants to make reign, He always begins by awakening their intelligence. The Holy Spirit does not pour out His anointing on sleeping minds. “Whoever gives thought to the matter will find good…” (Proverbs 16:20). You want to be happy? Then think! Think about your future. Think about your calling. Think about your identity! God doesn’t raise up ignorant people to change nations. He raises up young people who think, who instruct themselves, and who take a stand.

But let’s ask the real question now: Why do so many young people fail in their destiny despite their passion for God? Why do some speak in tongues all day, attend every spiritual camp, yet don’t break through in life? The answer is simple: because they don’t think! They pray, but they don’t study. They prophesy, but don’t train in anything. They cry out to God, but neglect their mind. Yet in Acts 10:19, the Bible says that while Peter was thinking about the vision, the Spirit spoke to him. Reflection attracts the voice of God!

First key: Reflection is a spiritual law

It’s not just about praying hard. You must think hard. The wisdom of the poor is despised, and his words are not heard (Ecclesiastes 9:14–16). You can be anointed, you can be powerful in the Spirit, but if you are indigent, if you are poor, if you are inactive… no one will listen to you. Read carefully what the Word says: it was not because they all spoke in tongues that great grace was upon them (Acts 4:33–34). It wasn’t because of prophetic words or visions. It was because there was not a single needy person among them! Great grace eradicated poverty. The grace of God will accompany you in your thinking!

And to think, you must train. The book of Proverbs says it was written “to give the young man knowledge and discretion” (Proverbs 1:1–4). Reflection is learned. It requires training. You want to know why they made you do cosine and Pythagoras in school? Maybe not to use them, but to build your mental muscle. To teach you how to reason. Because life is a sequence of problems. And you don’t solve problems by shouting. You don’t solve problems by fasting for 40 days. If you shout without thinking, you’re shouting into the void. But if you think before shouting, Heaven listens!

Nehemiah understood this. Before rebuilding Jerusalem, Nehemiah went out alone at night to examine the broken walls… and he thought (Nehemiah 2:12–17). Even God was waiting for Adam to think! Genesis 2:19 tells us God brought the animals to see what the man would name them. He wanted to see! He didn’t say anything. He let Adam observe, think, name, use his faculties. God is looking for men and women who, without a voice from Heaven, make wise decisions through their renewed mind!

In the day of prosperity be joyful, but in the day of adversity consider. (Ecclesiastes 7:14)

And I ask you again: who has a version where it says “in the day of adversity, pray hard”? There’s none. God asks you to consider. Of course, James 5:13 also says “Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray!” Yes, prayer remains essential. But prayer does not replace thinking. You must do both. This imbalance in nations reveals it. On one side, wealthy countries that don’t believe in God. On the other, nations where everyone prays but no one thinks. You want to find happiness? Then think. And trust in the Lord!

Second key: God blesses what is prepared

You may be talented, you may be educated, but as long as no special grace is placed upon you, the fight will be hard. Look at Isaac. Genesis 26:12–13 says he sowed, and God blessed him. It wasn’t his degrees that made him wealthy. Not his intelligence. Not his training. It was the blessing of the Lord. And because of that blessing, he became rich, and continued to grow richer until he became very wealthy. Very wealthy! So wealthy that his wealth couldn’t be quantified. They simply said: he is strong.

But don’t confuse things: the blessing is the airplane, but your skills are the runway. Without skills, without training, without preparation… grace cannot land. And how do you build that runway? Through training. Through gaining knowledge. Through learning software, languages, methods. Through taking initiative and starting things!

  • Don’t wait to understand everything before starting.
  • Don’t pray for 40 days just to know your field of study.
  • Start. Move forward.
  • And God will bless what you start.

I told you my story. I graduated from high school, but didn’t know what to do. I prayed. I fasted. I wanted a prophecy, a dream, something extraordinary. Nothing came. My father got mad. He told me: “I’ll choose for you.” He enrolled me forcibly in marketing. I had no divine direction. Yet it was the right path. That’s where God trained me. He brought oil down on what I had started. If you don’t yet have the revelation, obey one thing: start.

And I started small. I didn’t wait to be a director. I accepted to sell ties, cakes. I did small jobs. I was ready to become a mason when the opportunity came. Whoever humbles himself will be exalted. You want royalty? Be willing to go through humility. The greatest King of the universe, Jesus Christ, was a carpenter before becoming a preacher.

Third key: You are a king sent into an enemy kingdom

The problem with this generation is that we all want to shine in church. But Jesus says

You are the light OF THE WORLD (Matthew 5:14)

Not “of the church.” There will always be more places in companies than on stage. There will always be more influence in social spheres than on a Sunday chair. The final revival will be a revival of kings. Jesus is the King of kings. And if He is King, so are you!

  • Do you dream big enough?
  • Are you thinking of learning English?

Daniel learned the language of the Chaldeans before being positioned in Babylon. You want to reign? Learn languages. You want to lead? Acquire skills. The Lord doesn’t put beggars on thrones. He raises up princes, leaders. Paul was more educated than all the other disciples. He spoke Greek, Aramaic, Latin, Hebrew. He is the one who wrote more than half the New Testament!

You want the anointing? Learn. You want revival? Study. You want God to lead you into spheres of influence to plant His name? Then become a prophetic spy. You’ll be like the spies Moses sent into Canaan. Your job will only be a cover. Your degree will only be a passport. Your true mission: to sow Christ in the hidden corners of society.

So rise up! Take action. Make your hands useful. Make your mind active. Go back to school. Learn a trade. Launch a business. Study the markets. Get out of religious illusions! God did not save you so that you would wander. He chose you to rule. Learn and become strong!

Let’s pray together

Father, I refuse spiritual and intellectual ignorance. I choose to think and to trust in You. Give me spiritual intelligence and the discipline to learn. Overthrow all intellectual laziness within me. Restore my concentration. Give me ideas. Inspire me to learn. I am a king. I am no longer a slave. I am called to reign. May your anointing equip me and your wisdom govern me, in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.

🙏 If you’ve never received Jesus into your life, say this prayer now with faith:

Lord Jesus, I recognize that I have sinned. I believe that You died on the cross for me, and that You rose again to save me. Today, I accept You as my Savior and my Lord. Deliver me. Transform my life. Take all the space. Amen.
