There is a force working against you—maybe you don’t know it yet, but it is absolutely real! Say to your neighbor, “There is a force working against you.” And this morning, we will expose it, confront it, and destroy it—in the name of Jesus! Enough is enough! Some still wonder why, despite their sincere efforts, the atmosphere in their life, in their home, or in their nation remains spiritually closed. Why, despite fasting, prayer, and visible zeal, things remain stagnant? The answer lies in the battle against the forces opposing revival. Yes, brothers and sisters, there are forces actively fighting against every spiritual breakthrough. And this morning, God is speaking to His Church.
Matthew 2:13 – King Herod will seek to destroy the Child.
Herod wanted to kill a rising star, a promise of God, a divine plan… right at birth! Here is the heart of the matter—forces rise up not when you’ve grown, not when you’re established, but at the very beginning, at the birth of God’s seed in you!
Look closely at the Scriptures. At the birth of Jesus, Herod rises up. This isn’t just a political battle, it’s spiritual opposition disguised as royal strategy. What is witchcraft? It is an intentional, deliberate action that allows entities to possess individuals in order to dominate, control, and harm others. And that, regardless of the form. Herod was a sorcerer! Because he sought to destroy Jesus in His cradle. He pretended he wanted to worship Him, but he intended to kill Him. This is the duplicity of witchcraft: a twisted heart, flattering lips, and murderous intent.
But beware! This battle is brutal. Witchcraft strikes to kill, not to warn.
He sent to kill all children two years old and under.
No dialogue, no discussion. Lives were taken because a man—moved by an invisible force—wanted to stop a child from fulfilling his destiny. This is the same force at work against you today: it wants to stop your ministry before it takes off, sabotage your business before it is established, destroy your marriage before it is built. This is the logic of the dragon in Revelation 12: he waits for the child to be born so he can devour it. As soon as you begin to step into the things of God, to pray, to fast, to receive visions… spirits begin to rise up!
When Paul and Barnabas preach in Acts 13, what happens? A man filled with the desire to hear the Word of God—the proconsul—is suddenly blocked by an “Elymas,” the sorcerer.
Acts 13:8 – Elymas opposed them…
The text is clear: Elymas was ACTIVELY opposing them. He didn’t want the light of the Gospel to shine in the heart of the proconsul. It is not always your intellect or human charm that brings breakthrough. There are spiritual veils that must be torn off! Paul, filled with the Holy Spirit, looks at Elymas and declares: “You are a son of the devil, an enemy of all righteousness!” And he strikes him with blindness. This is a demonstration of power. Because when a force is blocking the breakthrough, you don’t explain—you act. God does not argue with sorcerers, He judges them!
In every nation, witchcraft is entrenched at high levels. These are not mere rites or folkloric traditions. They are strongholds that prevent territorial transformation. Pastor Yannick saw it in a vision: men gathering to determine the spiritual fate of a nation. You cannot experience revival if you ignore the forces resisting it. The Church must rise out of ignorance.
One of the laws of spiritual warfare is the law of camouflage. Satan remains powerful as long as you don’t know he is there. He likes when we preach about wisdom, not about deliverance. Because when you open the file on witchcraft, atmospheres begin to stir.
The signs of witchcraft have become obvious in our society. My own village—says the Pastor—has been affected for over 40 years. One time, they installed streetlights… the next day they were facing the sky. Strange witchcraft! The lights were shining toward the heavens instead of the ground! We often talk about the government, the politicians… but far above them is this hidden, occult, strategic power: territorial witchcraft. We cannot ignore it.
Now listen to me! There is a truth many believers underestimate: every domain, every sphere—political, professional, economic—is already occupied. And they are not held by the intelligent, but by sorcerers. Those holding the economic levers do so through spiritual alliances.
The battle for Egypt in Joshua 1 was decided by who held the fortresses. This is far too serious to be natural.
All these forces only yield to a revival birthed in prayer. This is why night watches, prayer camps, and fasting are not optional. It is through watching in secret that strongholds fall. It is through prayer that your heart is freed from this spiritual anesthesia.
If you’re not awakened by prayer, you will not see revival!
Look at Anna the prophetess! Her ministry was prayer. Maybe you carry that mantle, but life made you lay it down. The Lord tells me: it’s time to return to the altar. Return to the altar of prayer! Return to intercession! Return to your prayer closet! Congo needs this generation of intercessors who will stand in the gap.
The mantle of prayer is descending! I see Simeons, I see Daniels, I see Annas being born again this morning!
Joseph survived Herod’s force thanks to revelation! He had a dream. It wasn’t imagination. It was a survival instruction.
When the Father told Joseph, “Flee!” it wasn’t fear—it was strategy. You cannot overcome witchcraft without a prophetic life. See! Hear! Receive directions! The prophetic world prepares you to unmask the enemy’s camp.
And then he was warned again when the child could return: “Those who wanted His life are dead…” For prophecy to be fulfilled, some must die. Yes! We wish death on no one, but biblically, some reigns must end for the reign of God to begin.
Jesus returned to Israel when Herod died! There are people—so long as they are in position—you will not see your promotion. As long as they remain, you will not step into your destiny.
But this morning I prophesy: every dominion, every authority, every spiritual, political, or professional stronghold blocking your destiny, IS BROKEN IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST!
Father, I thank You for this unveiling. I rise now in the authority You’ve given me and I declare that no work of witchcraft will remain in my life, in my house, or in this nation. Every spirit of Herod, every spirit of Elymas, every spiritual obstacle hindering the gospel, the destiny, the breakthrough, the deliverance, IS OVERTURNED in the name of Jesus.
I return to the altar of prayer. I stand in the gap. Lord, give me dreams, visions, and revelations that save. Give me strength to watch and to fast. May Your fire make me spiritually lucid and invincible.
