Yes, it’s harsh. But it’s the truth.
Young people, God will not elevate you based on your aspirations or the strength of your prayers, but on the basis of your acts of submission. As long as you refuse to honor, to submit, as long as you look down on your spiritual fathers… AS LONG AS YOUR HANDS ARE NOT LIFTED TOWARD THE HORN OF OIL, YOU WILL RECEIVE NOTHING!
Look at Jesus. He was God.
But He humbled Himself, He lowered Himself, coming down to earth in human form. And the Bible says in Philippians 2:9:
This is why God highly exalted Him.
It was BECAUSE OF HIS HUMILITY that God exalted Him. Not because He prayed the loudest. Not because He saw the greatest visions. Humility is the key.
You want to cast out demons, you want to convert the masses, you want to carry an anointing that shakes nations…
But can you handle being corrected by your pastor? Can you accept walking behind someone you know is spiritually weaker than you, but whom God has placed above you?
Without this, young man, young woman, you will go nowhere.
The anointing is available, it flows like a fountain, yes! But it always descends on Aaron’s head. Never on someone who rejects authority. The oil always begins at the head.
Do you really want the power of God? Then learn to walk under covering.
Are you tired of spiritual operations without fruit? Are you fed up with praying, fasting, prophesying, yet seeing no real transformation around you? Stop. Ask yourself this question: am I a son? Am I submitted?
Because what God expects of this generation is not first a generation of preachers, it’s not powerful voices, it’s not hands full of fire. It’s hearts full of humility.
1 Peter 5:5 – Young people, be subject to your elders… God gives grace to the humble.
It doesn’t say: “God gives grace to those who pray ten hours.” It doesn’t say: “God gives grace to those who receive revelations.” No. It says: God gives grace to those who humble themselves, to those who listen, to those who accept not understanding everything, but who walk behind someone.
This is why the anointing upon Jesus didn’t manifest until after thirty years of silence. Thirty years listening to the Pharisees lie without saying a word. He, the Word. He, the Son of God. He heard them say, “The Messiah hasn’t come yet,” when He was right there. But He stayed silent. Why? Because the anointing travels on the virtue of silence. Power travels through the channel of submission.
You dream of revival? You want Metamorphose 2025 in your city?
Then who is your father? What is your house? To whom are you accountable? The unsubmissive is never counted in God’s army. You may be in the camp, but you’re not even in the count. Jesus never counted the women and children… And the unsubmissive is seen as a woman or a child. You’re not mature yet. Yes, you pray, but you’re not acknowledged.
Look at Saul. He received the anointing from a flask. A flask of oil. A flask is nice, it looks good… but it’s FRAGILE. It can break. It’s temporary. And what did he do? He made spiritual decisions without his spiritual father. He disobeyed Samuel. Result? Rejected.
And when he tore Samuel’s mantle, thinking he was just tearing a piece of clothing… he was actually tearing his own royalty. Samuel wore the mantle because he was the guardian of his destiny. His covering. His root. You tear the mantle, you sever the link that gives you authority.
And David? He too was anointed. But with a horn of oil. A horn! Solid. Authentic. Spiritually massive. But listen! Even with the horn, David didn’t become king of Israel right away. He was anointed, yes. But he had to wait for the elders of Israel to come and anoint him to make it official. Because a private anointing is only a promise. It’s the honor of the elders that validates the public call.
The mantle doesn’t fall on those who run from the elders. You want a mantle? Go speak to the elders. God told Moses: “Go to the elders and tell them what you’ve seen.” Then He said to the elders: “The Lord has appeared to US.” What you’ve seen in vision, the elder has seen in dream.
Never believe you are the only one. The Spirit of God never gives a vision to a generation without first depositing it into an elder’s heart. Do you want to be a Joshua? Follow Moses. Do you want to be an Elisha? Stay close to Elijah, even when he humiliates you. Even when he tries to leave you behind. Stay. Because the double portion belongs to those who go through separations without criticizing, without murmuring.
The gift is not enough. You need the mantle. And mantles fall only in places of faithfulness. Elisha said to Elijah: “I will not leave you.” And Paul said to Timothy:
Fan into flame the gift of God that you received through the laying on of the HANDS OF THE ELDERS.
If you refuse the laying on of hands by an elder, nothing will happen! Power comes through honor. Not only through fasting.
Do you want to know if you’ve forgiven? Touch the wound.
A healed wound no longer hurts. If you still speak of your past with tears, they are not tears of gratitude. They’re tears of unspoken resentment. Of unexpressed anger. You say you’ve forgiven your father, but can you hear his name without feeling a pang of anxiety? You say you’ve forgiven, but you still delete his number. You say you’ve forgiven… but if someone announced today that he got hit by a car, you wouldn’t cry.
Oh yes, there’s still poison in your soul. And you come into God’s presence to ask for the anointing? You want to see lepers healed, you want the dead to rise? But have you learned how to intercede for those who hurt you?
Isaiah 53 says that Jesus “interceded for the guilty.”
You want to correct your parents, but you’ve never fasted for them. You want to give a word of correction, but you’ve never spent an hour on your knees for them! That’s why demons of anger are invading you. You call them witches… but it’s bitterness turning into hatred. It wasn’t the Holy Spirit who revealed their sins to you. It was an unclean spirit that fascinated you with a false revelation.
Love precedes revelation. If your heart is polluted, the anointing will not flow. The mantle is too heavy for wounded hearts. The Lord wants to heal your heart before He equips you.
Simon, Simon… Satan has asked to sift you! But I have prayed for you, that your faith may not fail. And you… when you are converted…
Oh, you were a disciple. You were a preacher. You saw demons flee. But Jesus said: you are not converted yet. Because conversion is not measured by ministry activity, but by your ability to strengthen your brothers.
If you don’t carry your brothers, you’re not yet a disciple. You’re just a consumer of anointing. You want a ministry that impacts? Then start interceding. Sacrificing. Loving.
Jesus didn’t say: “Peter, when you do miracles, start your ministry.” He said: “When you are converted… strengthen your brothers.”
You want to perform exploits? Start by proving your love in the little things.
Ask yourself: Do I really love? Am I capable of bearing with those who persecuted me? If not, restart the construction.
Father, I thank You for Your life-giving word. I come before You with a broken heart, a heart that admits walking without a mantle, sometimes without submission, often in pride disguised as zeal. Lord, heal my heart. I renounce all resentment, all hidden rebellion, all desire to act alone in what You have called me to do in obedience. Today, I decide to walk behind the elders, to honor my spiritual fathers, to remain faithful until the end.
I ask You for the grace of humility. Give me, Father, a lasting anointing. Not a fragile flask. Place upon me a horn of oil. And make me an instrument of impact in my generation.
In Jesus’ name, amen.
🙏 If you have never given your life to Jesus, say this prayer with faith:
Lord Jesus, I acknowledge that I am lost without You. I believe that You died for my sins, that You rose again. Today, I accept You as my Lord and Savior. Purify me, change my life, and lead me into Your will. Amen.
