Living in Abundance to Share It – TALKSHOW – Royal Business Event 2025

Living in abundance in order to share it

Why desire to be rich if not to change lives? Why long for abundance if not to fulfill our divine mandate on this earth? Remember this: throughout the Scriptures, God never separates prosperity from responsibility. Abundance divorced from love, mission, and generosity becomes a trap. This is why Jesus said in Luke 12:21, “This is how it will be with whoever stores up things for themselves but is not rich toward God.”

This is how it will be with whoever stores up things for themselves but is not rich toward God. (Luke 12:21)

The goal was never just to have. God’s heart is for you to be a living blessing. You were created to shine, inspire, influence, and give. Remember: “It is more blessed to give than to receive” (Acts 20:35). True joy is not in the number on your bank account, but in the lives you impact through what God entrusts to you. So here is the great question: are you living in abundance today with the intent to share it?

Yes, abundance is possible for the believer

Let’s settle one thing to start: abundance does not contradict faith. There is no conflict between being a Christian and prospering financially. Quite the opposite. Because in 2 Corinthians 8:9, it is written: “For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that you through his poverty might become rich.”

It was not an apostle, nor an angel, nor Moses who spoke of being “rich toward God.” It was Jesus Christ Himself! Yes, it is possible. But you must understand that this is not wealth to impress, to consume, to accumulate perishable things. It is wealth to fulfill the good works prepared in advance for you, to be a source, a fountain.

Jesus did not die only to bring you into heaven. He died so that your life here on earth may have an impact. He bore the curse so that you could live the inheritance.

And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work (2 Corinthians 9:8)

This is the balance. Not just living in abundance, but living in abundance in order to share it!

Your checking account isn’t the goal. Your social status isn’t the goal. The goal is your shine. You are a divine goods dispenser. You are the source through which God wants to water orphans, widows, children’s dreams, churches, Kingdom projects, hospitals, schools. You are a source!

God’s intention: to make you a resource person

Genesis 12:1-3 reveals the master plan. God says to Abraham: “I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you… and you will be a blessing.” No, He didn’t say: “I will make you blessed.” He said: “You will be a blessing.” See the nuance? To be blessed is to receive; to be a blessing is to give abundantly from the overflow. And we give according to the wealth we received, but also according to the mission we were entrusted with.

You weren’t saved for yourself. You weren’t enriched to show off. You were blessed to distribute. True prosperity in the Kingdom is never selfish. This is why you must rise each morning with this conviction: “Lord, make me a source.”

And you cannot distribute what you don’t have! Hence the importance of aspiring not only to have enough for the needs of your household, but also to carry those of others. God is looking for brides, not clients. Partners, not consumers. He’s not looking for decorative vases, but dispensers of good.

The distorted view of wealth: a spiritual warfare

But why is there this inner conflict when a Christian speaks about money? Why so much shame, mistrust, guilt? Because there is spiritual warfare behind the prosperity of God’s children. Jesus Himself identified Mammon as a competing entity. Mammon is not money. It is the spirit that distorts our relationship to money, that causes us to fear it, to desire it excessively, or to misuse it.

And often, poverty is not the absence of resources but the presence of false conceptions. Yes, some people want to be rich but are afraid of money. They desire it but criticize it. They want financial favor but inwardly oppose prosperity. Why? Because they confused the love of money (which is sinful) with the use of money (which is honorable when it is righteous).

You can walk in holiness and prosperity. You can shine in godliness and excellence. You can be a serious Christian and manage millions. Because God wants to position His people to finance major projects. And without that dimension, some of the works that God has placed in you can never be born. You can be filled with the fire of the Spirit and never see your dream of an orphanage come to life—due to a lack of finances. So you need to be in abundance to give birth to what God has planned.

True abundance includes your balance

But beware. Abundance is not measured only in euros or in property. No. True abundance is multidimensional:

  • You are in abundance when you have peace
  • When your soul is stable
  • When your marriage is calm
  • When your finances are in order
  • When you produce the works of God in your field
  • When you help, carry, lift, sow

You can have €4,000 a month and be in biblical abundance because you are living the good works prepared in advance (Ephesians 2:10).

So, when do we enter abundance?

  • When we have enough to meet all our needs (not our whims!)
  • And something more to do good

If your income allows you to feed your family, pay your children’s education, show up for those in your care, support your church, invest in God’s vision, then you are already in abundance. And this level can grow! Because in the Kingdom, there is no ceiling.

Giving with wisdom: the Christian’s responsibility

But be careful not to sacrifice your future for someone else’s immediate comfort. Helping does not mean bleeding yourself dry. You should not go into debt, impoverish yourself, or destabilize your marriage to respond to demands. Many confuse generosity with a lack of wisdom.

For if the willingness is there, the gift is acceptable according to what one has, not according to what one does not have (2 Corinthians 8:12)

You are responsible for your autonomy and your legacy. The goal is not for you to give a fish every day, but for you to become a bearer of lasting solutions.

Stop keeping people on life support. Sometimes the best way to help is:

  • Financially educating
  • Sowing into their future rather than into their whims

Be strategic in your charity. Build your stability first, and then be a relay; otherwise, you will fall with those you are trying to help. And a man on the ground cannot lift anyone up.

Being rich does not automatically make you happy. It is only when you realize that your life is useful, that what you own is serving to advance the Kingdom, that you experience true joy. The Spirit of God in you is the only stable source of happiness. Not your account, not your popularity. True peace comes from your alignment with the One who enriched you.

Let us pray together

Lord, I give You glory for my life. I give You glory for what You have already entrusted to me. Today I take another step: I no longer want to just be blessed—I want to become a blessing. Use me as a channel of good. Make me a distributor of impact, a lever for Your glory.

2. Lord, I choose to walk in financial wisdom. I choose to honor You in my income, in my giving, in my decisions. I refuse religious guilt and choose to prosper for Your Kingdom. I restore my vision according to Your Word. Enrich me according to Your will. Amen.

🙏 If you have never given your life to Jesus, pray this prayer in faith:

Lord Jesus, I recognize that I need You. I believe that You died for my sins and that You rose again. Today, I accept You as my Lord and Savior. Transform my life and guide me in Your ways. Amen.

At the heart of the Bible

  • Luke 12:21 – Being rich for God, not for oneself
  • 2 Corinthians 9:8 – Having all that you need to meet every need
  • Genesis 12:1-3 – Blessed to bless
  • Acts 20:35 – More blessed to give than to receive
  • Ephesians 2:10 – Created for good works prepared in advance
  • 2 Corinthians 8:9 – Jesus became poor so that we might be enriched

Apply this without delay. Become today a channel of abundance, a living witness of His generosity.

Remember: God is not looking for blessing consumers. He is looking for solution carriers.
