5 REASONS WHY THE DEVIL IS ANGRY WITH YOU – Apostle Yvan CASTANOU

5 reasons why the devil is angry at you

You can’t look at me like that. You can’t judge me based on the current version of my life. There is a version of me—hidden, invisible, still in preparation—that even hell won’t be able to contain. That version is coming forth, and it will astonish the world. Yes, there is a “you” that God designed long before you were formed in your mother’s womb. That version is what the devil wants at all costs to prevent from emerging. But it’s too late! Christ will be manifested in your life. Your calling will be visible. Your inheritance will become tangible. Why? Because the devil is angry, furious, destabilized. He knows what you represent in God’s plan.

Be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power. (Ephesians 6:10)

It’s Paul who said this just before talking about spiritual warfare. The first thing to do is not to put on the armor—it’s to receive the strength of the Lord. Why? Because if your spirit is weak, your body will be like a sieve. You’ll fall into the most absurd traps. That’s why so many fall: they are weak even before the battle begins.

But why does the devil hate you so much? Why this relentless rage against the children born of God, the redeemed, those who love Christ with no turning back? Get ready to understand what you represent in the invisible realm. These revelations will arm you and position you.

1. You received what he never had

You can’t grasp Satan’s anger until you realize the unique place you hold in God’s heart. Ezekiel 28:12-13 tells us clearly: “You were the model of perfection, full of wisdom and perfect in beauty…” That was Lucifer at the time of his creation. He was magnificent, radiant, a masterpiece of creation. But he was not made in the image of God. God created angels as servants, messengers. But when He created you, He said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness.”

Do you know what that means? It’s not just about outward appearance. It’s about essence. He didn’t form a creature—He formed a son. You are a carrier of the divine nature. You are destined to reflect God on Earth.

Lucifer wanted to be like God: “I will ascend to heaven… I will exalt my throne… I will be like the Most High” (Isaiah 14:13-14). He coveted a position that didn’t belong to him. The result: rejected, cast down from heaven. But you… You weren’t just allowed to draw near—you were seated. In Christ, you have been raised, positioned, established. He coveted the throne, but you were invited to it. That alone is enough for him to hate you.

2. You received the forgiveness he never obtained

This is something I can’t even understand myself. The number of times I’ve fallen, the number of times I deserved to be rejected, the number of times I disobeyed in shame… And yet, the moment I return, the Father’s arms are open. The moment I say, “Father, forgive me, I’m coming back,” He accepts me. He restores me. The blood of Jesus speaks for me!

Lucifer disobeyed once and was eternally rejected. God made no provision for the forgiveness of fallen angels. But for you, God prepared a slain Lamb even before the foundation of the world. The sacrifice was already set before you even sinned. Heaven anticipated your fall to restore you. That’s why Satan is furious.

He can’t fathom such love. How could the Most High love a human being so much? He wanted glory, he got hell. You fell, and you were restored, elevated.

How can we not praise this divine love? How can we not weep in awe before such grace? It’s not because you deserve it—it’s because He loves you. That’s why a life of gratitude becomes normal when you truly grasp the immeasurable forgiveness you’ve received.

3. You now occupy the position he lost

You see, the throne Lucifer coveted wasn’t heavenly—it was earthly. Yes, he reigned on Earth before the fall. That’s why Jesus says in Luke 10:18, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven.” He lost his jurisdiction over Earth. He had authority over a territory. He watched over and covered the altar of glory on Earth.

When God re-created the Earth after the fall, He didn’t place angels there. He placed you. He put man in the very spot from which Satan had been cast out. It’s as if God was saying to him: “You wanted My place? Look at those I’ve chosen to rule where I removed you from.”

Revelation 5:10: “You have made them to be a kingdom and priests to serve our God, and they will reign on the earth.”

This verse is a scandal to demons. Your existence isn’t meant for survival—it’s meant for reigning!

And if you only knew… Spiritually, you are positioned above him. You who are in Christ, you are seated in heavenly places, “far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every name that is named” (Ephesians 1:21). Heaven has placed you where he can never return. It’s too late for him. But for you, it’s the beginning of a glorious eternity! That’s why he trembles.

4. You carry the Christ he rejected

He wanted to be like God—you manifest God. He wanted to be worshipped—you’ve become the temple of the Living God. You are a fusion between the reconciled human spirit and the Holy Spirit. You are a bearer of Christ. Heaven cannot refuse you. An invisible light radiates from within you. The Holy Spirit inhabits your earthen vessel.

We carry this treasure in jars of clay. (2 Corinthians 4:7)

You may not look impressive on the outside, but in the invisible realm, you are a giant. When the devil sees you, he sees: Christ revealed, Christ demonstrated, Christ manifested through a submitted body. That has become your identity: as He is, so are you in this world (1 John 4:17). And that truth is UNFORGIVABLE to Satan.

5. You received the inheritance he coveted

He wanted worship. He wanted reign. He wanted power. Now God says to the angels, “Worship the Son.” (Hebrews 1:6). And because you are in Christ, you are worshipped indirectly. The angels are your fellow servants, but your spirit ranks above them. That’s why, even to this day, they look at God’s plan in the Church with astonishment.

You are the angels’ sermon. It is the Church that teaches angels about the infinite manifold wisdom of God (Ephesians 3:10). Your very existence is a slap in Satan’s face. Everything he wanted, you received—by grace!

Let us pray together

1. Father, I acknowledge Your immeasurable love for me. I refuse to remain passive. Reveal in me the version of myself You designed before the foundation of the world. I am ready to pay the price.

2. Lord, I take action. I carry Christ. I refuse invisibility. I step out of mediocrity. The supernatural is my norm. I want to live fully animated by Your Spirit.

Lord Jesus, I acknowledge that I need You. Come into my life. Purify me from my sin. Change my story. I accept You as my Savior and my Lord. From this day forward, I live for You!
